I have seen more animals in my back yard than this poor excuse for a place to visit. Without spending a whole lot of time typing, just avoid this place. All I can say is Really? Give me a break

We loved our time here. We got to feed some monkeys and an owl. Their were cats and dogs roaming around to pet. The highlight was a new litter of puppies. Do check this place out and leave a donation if you're and animal lover.

Visited the refuge with expectations of seeing a wide variety of animals and found it reduced to 3 goats, 2 green parrots, 2 monkeys, a rooster, 3 bunnies, a macaw and a half dozen young cats. The owner, other than offering the macaw to sit...More

The very nice people here do good work. Animals are brought here for rehab, and when they well and able again are released back into the wild. Those animals that are not suited to re-introduction stay and receive excellent care. When appropriate, interaction is permitted...More

Jungla de Panama was a great way to spend an hour on our last day in Boquete. It's easy to find and the owner and her family are great. Her son, Drake, told us a lot about the animals and showed us around. We fed...More

The amount of animals is quite small, but on the upside you can interact with them like no other zoo I have visited. You can feed the spider monkey's peanuts and go into the baby monkey's cage. When you arrive a parrot is put on...More

From the moment you enter the door, you are warmly welcomed and guided toward the monkey cages where a staff member greets you with favorite treats in hand for you to give to the monkeys, so you become fast friends! Once you and the adults...More

I have been at Jungla for 10 days. Actually staying here instead of an hour visit I believe allows me to give a more accurate review of the facility than some I have read. It has given me a chance to meet and get to...More

Good up close experience for children to see rescued animals. We fed the spider monkeys some papayas! Lots of rescues being rehabilitated. Kids can hold Casey the macaw and feed an owl, rabbits, chickens and goats. Educational and fun!

Found the recommendation for Jungle de Panama Wildlife Refuge on Trip Advisor, so we decided to visit. The location was not too far from Boquete and easy to find. Upon arriving we were met by a guide who took us through the gardens to view...More

You should probably contact the owners on that one...I saw just 2 staff there, one with the animals and one in the restaurant. I can't imagine there would be much needed help as there were probably just 20-25 animals, less... More

Hi, I would recommend visiting Jardin Encantado instead of Jungla de Panama, which is also in Boquete. It is a beautiful rainforest animal park, as well as restaurant, spa, and place to stay. In my trips to both, I got a... More
