Informative and well organized! You will cover a lot of ground! You see a significant portion of Panama that is popular with expats. First hand reports from the people who have relocated. A variety of rental options and neighbourhoods are shown and described in detail. Plus advice from experts on obtaining visas and doing business in Panama. A very useful online guide included and a private FB group rounds out the experience. Saves you time and money.

THANKS for your review of your Panama Relocation Tours. We pack a lot of information in to a 6-day, 7-night Panama Relocation Tours so you can determine if Panama is right for you. Besides all the information you get from the tour guides, we think it is helpful to meet with expats who live in each of the areas we visit. I'm glad you found the tour to be informative and well organized. Let us know when you come back to Panama.

Jolynn and J, ably assisted by Pryce, made tour #183 both enjoyable and memorable . We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to returning and experiencing the Caribbean side of Panama.

"What's impossible?" Well, it's impossible not to like Jorge! Jorge was our guide in Volcan, Cerro Punta, and surrounding areas. We spent a week in Panama, divided between the Volcan/Cerro Punta area and Boquete. When you meet Jorge, you're already a friend! It's automatic. You're at ease right away. Volcan is his home, his knowledge of the area is encyclopedic, and as you travel around, it seems that he knows everyone! I had seen a house, in one of Jackie's videos, that was interesting and I asked him about it. Not only did he know the house, but he knew who is currently renting it!! Jorge also knew that the lady who makes the world's BEST yogurt, has a shop right nearby! Ask him to take you... Don't forget to try the Nonce flavor! Nonce is a tiny little fruit that packs a big flavor punch. I'd never heard of it. Fantastic! The whole area is about as different as it could be from Boquete! It's much quieter and more laid back. Very little traffic. Cerro Punta and that whole area is mostly farm country. A huge percentage of all the food for Panama is grown there. The farmers are AMAZING! You have to see how they take advantage of EVERY little piece of land. They grow their vegetables on the steepest hillsides you can imagine! It's a sight to see, for sure! The only disappointment we had, despite Jorge's best efforts, was that the real estate rental market, just as in Boquete, was extremely tight. If you plan on going to Panama and want to look for rentals, I'd strongly suggest that you allow yourself more time than we did. I'll probably go back and stay for a couple of months. If you are planning to go to Panama and to hire a guide in that part of the country, do yourself a huge favor. Call Jorge. You'll be glad!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your Private Tour with Jorge! He was the first person I met when I came to Panama in 2010, and he has been a good friend ever since. When we started offering Private Tours, I knew without a doubt that he would be IDEAL as a Private Tour Guide for Volcan. Jorge knows the Volcan area better than anyone else. Thanks again for your review of your Private Tour with Jorge. Let us know when you come back to Panama.

So much crammed into a week! Both of us loved the tour and are gearing up for a "trial year" sometime in 2023. I have a few suggestions, however. For travelers: 1. Pack EVEN LIGHTER than Jackie and crew recommend. We thought we'd packed as lightly as possible but our three small bags still got very heavy, especially on the long walks that happen every time we transit a US airport. 2. Bring an extension cord. 6 to 8', with multiple three-prong female outlets. It helps when one tries to connect their Fire Stick (or whatever) to a hotel TV. 3. If at all possible, travel for a tour in the dry season. We had to time our tour during school vacation, so didn't have a choice. For PRT: Nearby communities were mentioned when we were on the road from David to Boquete. Roads/Time permitting, it would have been helpful if our bus had gone into such communities, even if just a drive-thru. All in all, our PRT tour was a blast, full of wonderful fellow travelers. Our guides, Jay and Jolynn, were full of info and always available to field questions. The local food was great, and the coffee is about the best I ever tasted. The coffee in the US tastes like cigarette ashes by comparison. We'll be back next year! Stephen Wilson and Jeanne Dobson

THANKS for your review of your Panama Relocation Tour. I'm so glad you had a blast and learned a lot too. Because we pay to have your laundry done during the tour, you don't need to bring much. The entire tour is super causal so that helps to lighten the load too! It would be great for you to come to see Panama during the dry season (December to April) to see the difference between the two seasons. If we made the tour a 10 day tour, we'd have more time to show more areas, but it would be exhausting for you and for the tour guides and our driver too. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! Let us know when you come back.

The information you will receive is invaluable!! Jolynn, Jay and Jorge were awesome and patient with everyone. They made the trip very enjoyable and fun!! I saw so many places in Panama that I would have never seen if traveling on my own. It seemed like a lot of money, but believe me, it was worth every penny! We are starting the VISA process soon and are planning to come back to see some other areas of interest as there are so many! My advice to those that are thinking about a tour.....GO!!!! You won't regret it!!
