I had a friend visiting us in Boquete who is not even a coffee drinker but I took her on this tour because I loved it so much the first time. She could not believe how much she enjoyed this tour and the wonderful hands-on presentation by Rich. He is so charming and enthusiastic about the history and culture of... More

Took the tour with the owner. Extremely informative - really enjoyed our time and the tour. Felt the experience was well worth the time and effort. Highly recommend to anyone considering the tour.

We did the tour with Amy last week. Amy and her 2 sweet helpers did a great job of explaining the process of producing top quality organic coffee. We really appreciated being our own small group of 4. And we were really impressed with how Mr. Ritchie gives back to the local people by supporting a local indigenous school. He... More

We are very fortunate to have found this tour. You will never think of coffee as just coffee. Our guide, Ana(?), explained about the whole world wide coffee industry. She showed us how a carefully thought out organic coffee farm works. From growing, harvesting, drying, to roasting. Everything was covered. Extremely interesting. And the coffee finca supports their workers and... More

Had a terrific time. Amy our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Learn a lot about the coffee process and the ethics of it. Give you a taste test of the tea and the coffee and get to roast your own souvenir. the walking tours is easy to navigate. They will pick you up in Boquete and take you back... More

I've done this tour twice, Once with the owner and it was a private tour, once with a few friends. The finca evolves and you see its growth and progress. Best part is roasting your own beans and taking home a bag or 2, but learning the process and what this farm gives back to the community makes it a... More

It was pouring down rain when Amy found us at the Plaza Los Establos in Boquete to take us up the mountain for the tour. In all honesty, my cousin and I were hoping the van just wouldn't show up! The rain stopped once we got to Finca Dos Jefes and Amy gave a wonderful presentation on the "business" of... More

This coffee tour was incredibly diverse! Amy was an excellent guide as she told us about the ethics and politics surrounding coffee growing, had us taste different roast grades, gave us a tour of the property and walked us through the entire process of growing, harvesting, drying, and roasting coffee. The property and the views from it are stunning and... More

What an experience! This tour is great for everyone who wants to experience the process around the coffee bean (actually its a fruit ^^) including the agriculture, business, politics, the process of roasting and off course the taste. We learned a lot and I can definitely recommend this tour.

Even though we emailed cafes de la luna really late at 23.00u if we could join them for the tour the next day at 8.00u, it was still possible. Really good! The price was $30 dollar and worth every penny. The guide Amy was cool and her English was really good. She knew all about coffee and guides us for... More
