This was an excellent coffee tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and well spoken about coffee and the mission of this farm. The farm, owned by an expat, is trying to change the community through providing good jobs and donating food to the community schools all while making high end nearly organic coffee. This was not my favorite cup... More

It seems the other reviewers have already said everything we thought about this tour. It's fantastic. A great way to understand the coffee industry from the perspective of a small, quality producer. Richard was gracious, knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. He (and his two lovely collies) kept our 9, 10 and 12 year old kids interested and engaged the whole time.... More

The owner, Rich, took me and 4 friends on a tour of his farm and it was fantastic. He spent over four hours with us and took his time explaining and showing us all things coffee. This is a beautiful property and very philanthropic business. Some of the best money and time I spent in Panama, and warranted my first... More

Interesting, education and informative! Amy was our tour guide. She did an outstanding job! Very knowledgeable about all aspects of the finca. We learned a lot in several hours. Amy kept the tour moving along, yet we still had plenty of time for questions, coffee tasting and touring the farm. Rich's endeavors with the farm are helping his workers and... More

The Coffee Tour is about growing and drinking coffee, its social and economical effects to the world. Staff and owner are great. Tour start with information about coffee growing, history of the Finca Dos Jefes and drinking coffee cherry tea. Short walk around plantation to see real coffee cherries, flowers, plants and general buildings. After the tour you get to... More

This tour gave you exposure to the complete coffee process It provided a good look at the coffee plants and what it entailed to get them to the coffee bean processing plant. Also an idea of getting the finished product to market. Fun time outdoors with beautiful scenery.

I was picked up in town by the male owner of "Finca Dos Jefes" and taken up to the plantation. Bob reviewed the history of coffee, the industry today, and some of the problems. Walking the grounds was a delight and many vistas were there to behold. Bob then roasted his coffee beans and made some of the most delicious... More

Go, go, go!! I We stayed with a local coffee farmer, and he recommended Dos Jefes to us. We couldn't have been more thrilled to find a smaller farm since we'd only read about a few other coffee farms that were much bigger. Our tour guide, Amy, picked us up at 9 am from our bed and breakfast (Casa Los... More
