Definitely add this to your list of outdoors activities while visiting Boquete. The staff is extremely friendly, multi-lingual and attentive to safety of all participants, heights and ages! The drive up to the Tree Trek site is fun (and steep). Great equipment and views on...More

Very good place ( Boquete Tree Trek Resort ), canopy tour was awesome, little adrenaline, very professional staff, amazing views. Everything was perfect. I recommended to take bus from company office to place where activities start cause road is very difficult.

We had great fun with ziplining. It’s a pretty extensive trail and high up. They take good care of kids and safety comes first. Had a very good, professional impression of the organization.

I'm dreadful with heights but I really enjoyed this experience. Staff are very courteous, responsible with the right amount of fun thrown in. The drive up from town to the mountain resort is part of the adventure. I would definitely do again.

This was an amazing experience, ziplining through the Panamanian rainforest, high above the trees, with spectacular views of the waterfall, mountains, and town way down below. The guides were helpful, kind, and very safety conscious. I felt in very good hands, even as I was...More

Nice intensive ziplining. Nevertheless we were 22 people and thus had to wait a lot. They also rushed us from one zipline to the other. And it is USD 65. Quite expensive for what it is.

Boquete Tree Trek offers lodging, dining, and a number of different tour options. The hanging bridges tour is a hiking tour (hours was about a 2.5 hr hike), but they also have coffee and ziplining on premises.

David - Chiriqui - Boquete - Almirante road trip (8 Replies)
Hi all! my name is Laura and I am planning a trip to Panama (and Costa rica) for early April. We are a family of 3 (me, my boyfriend and our 6yo daughter). After a couple of days in Panama City, I booked a flight for David and the plan would be the following: Day 1: arrive at David airport at 11. Renting a Car. Spending the night around the Gulf of Chiriqui Day 2: take the road to Boquete, stopping at the hot springs and doing the 1pm zip line tour at Boquete tree trek. Spending the...More

Since you're adventurous, I'd recommend driving to Boca Chica, where you can leave your car, and take a water taxi to Boca Brava, which is an island just opposite Boca Chica. The Boca Brava hotel has great views of the Gulf and its islands. There is a family of howler monkeys that live in the tree over the restaurant. The hotel isn't luxurious by any means, but it's clean and typically Panamanian.

Does anyone know if you get picked up when you book this zipline tour? I will have a small rental car but I hear the road up the mountain is pretty rough. Also I did try emailing them directly but no reply. :-(

Does anyone know if you need to be with a group like BOA or Explora Ya to do the Zip Line in Boquete? We will have our own car and would rather not be with a group if we don't need to. Do you need a reservation? I sent an email to the address on the website but I got no response. We'd appreciate any info/suggestions.
