Eduardo and Christian at Boquete Outdoor Adventures were very helpful in scheduling a number of activities for my boyfriend and I as we did not want to do all the same activities. They also offer discounts when booking more than one activity. I would highly suggest the white water rafting which is very fun and available for all experience levels; we saw a huge boa snake in the trees and cows swimming across the river. When hiking on the Quetzal Trail, we saw multiple quetzal birds and the guide brought binoculars for us to see the birds closeup. I also completed the Boquete Challenge where I hiked overnight to the summit of Volcano Baru which was an amazing yet very challenging experience. If you’re in Boquete to enjoy nature’s best activities, I highly recommend Boquete Outdoor Adventures!

Went on a 3 hour coffee tour ($30) to Finca Dos Jefes with pick up and drop off at Boquete Outdoor Adventures. Pesticide free specialty coffee plantation that pays decent wages to its workers. See coffee cherries and drying beds. Taste medium versus dark roast and cascara tea. In depth explanation of the coffee growing process and of farm-to-cup. Amy is fluent in English and super engaging, entertaining, and informative. I’ve been on other coffee tours before and this one was the best. Can buy bags of coffee beans to take home at the end (cash only). Boquete outdoor adventures charges 7% surcharge for credit card bookings.

Our guide was amazing. He knew a lot about the landscape and flora and fauna and shared his knowledge with us. We were very fortunate to have spotted a few Quetzals and with our guides swift reaction, we were able to view the birds through the high powered binoculars. Exceptional day for sure.

We made a reservation for the baru vulcano zipline tour and paid in full in advance. On the day of the tour it was raining heavily and heavy rain was forecasted for the entire day. Obviously, we did not feel like ziplining in the rain with poor visibility. It should be a fun trip with nice views, not a survival trip. Therefore, we wanted to cancel the trip. The company refused to give a refund. They claimed it was (at that moment) still okay on the vulcano and safe to go, so told us it was our choice not to go, not theirs. They just send us the cancellation policy, which says that they decide whether the weather is ok, not the customer. Unbelievable. This way of doing business is not acceptable. They would have send us up in pouring rain. After a heated argument we got 50 dollars back (out of 120).

Eventually it rained nonstop for two days. I am glad we did not go, but it totally sucks we lost 70 dollars.

If you decide to go with this company (or Oasis adventures as they are associated) I would recommend not to pay in advance. Pay when you are sure you wanna go up there and make sure there is no rain in the forecast.

As a plus: they communicate well and respond quickly through whatsapp.

We decided to do the Sunrise Jeep tour to Volcan Baru after multiple locals had suggested it. The company was very accommodating with booking us only 24 hours in advance and had an on-time pickup. There were multiple companies on the top of the volcano at sunrise but ours had the best breakfast and even brought chairs for us to sit and enjoy. They were extremely professional. We experienced a flat tire on the way down the mountain and they sprang into action and took care of it. Highly recommend this company for this tour and would do it again.

I have not hiked with Boquete Outdoor Adventures but wanted to share my experience. I went to their agency in the morning to book a hike with a group for the afternoon. Unfortunately, it started raining a lot a few hours before the start and as I did not have any proper rain gear, I called them to cancel. Due to the circumstances, I of course did not expect to get a refund from them and did not ask for it. To my surprise, they texted me a later to inform me that I could get a refund which very positively surprised me.

Boquete Outdoor Adventures planned our stay in Boquete, where our family of 5 (kids 7, 10, and 13) did white water rafting, coffee tour, waterfall hike, and zip lining. All was amazing. The rafting was pretty intense, with constant white water for 2.5 hours - very exciting. The coffee tour and waterfall hikes were great because our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate. The zip lining was absolutely awesome - we did the zip line through Oasis, which is a new 8-line course on Volcan. The guides were the coolest and the lines were super long and fast. They run a great operation at Oasis and we would strongly recommend that course.

My husband and I had a great time with Jaime on our hike to the 3 Lost Waterfalls. Jaime was knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation in the jungle and was very friendly and happy to tell us what it was like growing up in Boquete. Jaime provided us with hiking poles and water and a safe trek to all 3 falls. Be aware that some physical fitness is needed to get to all 3 falls, with some steep inclines and muddy areas. Don't wear your brand new white sneakers! I highly recommend Boquete Outdoor Adventures for booking tours while in the area. All the staff we worked with were friendly, knowledgeable and fluent in English; helpful for these non-Spanish speakers.

Traveled with a large tour group to Boquete and used BOA to show us all around Alto Boquete, San Francisco, and Baja Boquete. The driver was skilled and the guide, Jim, was very knowlegable about the different communities and neighborhoods available to us as expats. Would recommend BOA to anyone looking for answers or activities.

We did 2 trips, the coffee tour with Ricardo and the Waterfalls hike with Jaime.
Both trips were great, very informative and both guides very experienced and friendly.
The waterfalls hike had spectacular views and Jaime told us about various plants, flowers, birds and insects we came across
