The Sultan's Palace was a photo stop on our tour. Impressive building and gate. Palace is in Salalah as it is the birthplace of the Sultan.

This is more of a photo op rather than anything else. Little can be seen other than the beautiful walls around the palace.

Impressive area of the building that you can imagine from outside: no access allowed. Nice garden surrounding the palace.

Since you are not allowed to visit the palace grounds and the views from the outside is limited, it is not that much to see.

Behind a beautiful garden is the entrance of this palace. The door is closed for visitors. But from the left side (to far for walking ) you can have a glimp of the palace grounds from a nice beach.

The palace is a beautiful building, surrounded by a green garden. They do not allow visitors inside, so it is only worth driving by to get a view of the palace.

It's worth driving past the Sultan's Palace and stopping to take a photo if you're in the area anyway, but be aware that this is not a tourist attraction or a place that can be visited. As such, there is not all that much to...More
