Really worth a visit. Very big fort with several rooms. Beautifull view from the top. Local shops in the fort.

This is a well presented fort with some interesting artifacts inside. Any easy walk around (easier than many other forts in Oman).

The fort has been renovated, it is a very interesting visit, you can wander around the various rooms. We were with a guide who provided good information about the history of the fort.

The fort is actually very nice. However, there are lots of empty rooms in which there is nothing to see. In addition, there aren't really explanations of the exhibiton items so overall the price is way too expensive

The fort is fun too explore and the museum has a lot to offer, although a lot is only in Arabic. The main problem is the expense of the tickets.

As everywhere in Oman there is a fort in a village or town. This is huge and well renovated. Displays a very nice museum.

Not a big fort but worth seeing since you have best views from the tower over the valley of Nizwa. Just avoid mid-day hours since it gets hot even in winter time and nearby Nizwa Souk is closed btw 11AM - 5PM.

The castle looked way too new. And it costed 5 OM per person. It was quite expensive for see a castle like this. Inside of the castle was okay, not worth 5 OM.
