We saw this on the drive down to one of the beaches so on our way to the airport we decided to make time to see it. It isn't huge or has any information on it, but it's worth a stop. It's a bit eerie...More

Really not much to spend time on here - but worth a visit if you want a break from the perfect beaches nearby.

I have been visiting here every time I come to the Isle of Pines and every time I am still amazed at the history and the beauty and power of nature. My 3 year old loved it too. Highly recommend a visit here.

No one there to say"Don't do that, Don't go there" and we wandered the prison with a sense of exhileration. We wandered freely through the cells and truied t imagine the horrors that these prisoners would have experienced and 'Hell Hole' came to our minds.

Interesting historical place, left to ruin which is a shame. Not much left except the outer walls and some internal ones. No real information there best to do some research prior to leaving so you have some idea of what the site is all about.
