This bay is pretty and fairly well sheltered. It is at the top of the island and is best reached by pirogue from baie d’Upi.

Beautiful scenery and very relaxing couple of hours to sail from one end of the bay to the other. We had one boat to ourselves.

A trip on the traditional pirogue boats is a \real treat - and reasonably priced. Our skipper was a wealth of interesting facts and stories (in French, but that was fine).

We loved our time here and enjoyed the beach and swimming. Always put our snorkel on and enjoyed the fish

Gorgeous sand, wonderful water - a bit short on reef, but what a bathing experience. Beautiful spots to boat or just loaf under the shade of a neighboring palm. Rest rooms not too far away either. THE most beautiful spot to chill in.

We anchored here for 2 nights. It's a great base to explore the island. We walked to a lovely restaurant for dinner.

It's all so quiet, it's all so peaceful. Gliding gently on turquoise blue waters, everybody else stays quiet. Silence. Magical beauty. Rock formations appear and we sail between them. Time stops while the wooden boat takes you around. I loved it!

Easy to book when you arrive in Ile des Pins, your hotel will organise a local Pirogue for you and friends to sail on. 8-10 people can fit on one boat. Easy sailing, you don't get wet apart from wading knee deep to get on/off...More

We took a pirogue trip from Oro Bay as well as a speed boat ride to 3 other nearby islands. Some of the scenery was quite breathtaking. Certainly a place to visit.
