The original Living Desert/Little 5 Tour! 08h00 to 13h30 from Swakopmund in our 4x4's: we go into the dune/gravel plains area to track the little creatures - snakes, chameleons, geckoes, lizards, scorpions, insects, etc - and also give info on the desert in general, the area's plants and minerals. Dune drive through to the sea. Scenic and educational.

Worth ever and ever again. Tommy and his team contribute significantly to the protection of the Namib by educating and instructing people and at the same time their trips are great fun and a lifetime experience.

The desert was dead until Tommy took us out there. Within a few minutes, we were looking at a sidewinder. Followed by horned adder, scorpion, spider, multiple types of geckos, and more. All of this often just a few meters from the road. It truly...More

Chantelle led a fun and educational tour of the coastal dunes south of Swakopmund, with information about the geologic formations as well as its hidden occupants: chameleons, geckos, sidewinders, skinks, scorpions, etc.

The tours are about 4 hours, and while you are 4-wheeling in the desert, it wasn't that bumpy or anything. I was a little skeptical, thinking sand dunes would be boring, but Tommy and his crew really bring "the living... More
