We loved walking along this beach. We walked for an hour each day. It is great to watch the camels, horses and kite surfers. We would stop at Beach and Friends on our way back for a much needed beer!

We stayed at the southern end of the beach and most days wandered either along the promenade to the town or kicked through the waves heading to the rocks that mark the southern extremity. Closer to the town the local people and Moroccan tourists have...More

A beautiful wide sweeping beach. The kids loved paddling. It gets very windy in teh afternoons and we came away with mouthfuls of sand. Loved it anyway. The temp here is also about half what Marrakech is so it was a lovely relief from the...More

We went to Essaouira just for one reason, the beach. We ended up liking the medina and the hostel, and the people at the hostel more than it. The morning we went to the beach, we packed up everything, book, water, towel, camera, sunscreen and...More

Trying to learn to kite surf amongst camel trains, galloping horses, quad bikes and hoarded of small children who play right in amongst all of that is challenging in the least - and quite off putting.

Nice long sandy beach. Trash bins are in desperate need! Lots of small sellers' carts with fibger food. Would not be bad to put some showers and shades as well
