Nice long beach, however sand is not so soft as expected. And you need to walk quite a distance to have a chance to swim

The beach is of fine sand. The sea is very shallow so you need to walk quite far out to be able to swim. The area seems very clean. Good cafes serve the beach, especially at the far end away from the medina. The ha...More

Essaouira's beach is really unique! Great sand, cool atmosphere in the right side mainly. On the left and more busy side though locals will push you for horse and camel rides, disturbing the ambiance of the place. Just ignore them..

This is a really family-freindly beach away from the multitudes of sunbathing tourists! Excellent for a stroll and kite surfing. Sandy beach and waters weren't too cold.

Day trip to Essaouira left us just enough time to go to the beach, have a paddle and then a drink at a local cafe. A bit exposed - could easily get sunburnt. Windy - hence the kite surfers.

We had a nice walk along the beach, dipped our toes in the Atlantic ocean, watched football players and dromedars, and had nice lunches at Beach & Friends. Despite all this, the beach seems dirty. We found something we first thought was a colorful stone...More

Walked from the old town to the camel area very day. Great walk very windy. Stopped for coffee and did the return. The walk itself took about 25 minutes each way. A variety of restaurants/coffee shops to watch the world and the camels go by.

You would have to do a little more research on this. We did not see any marriage offices that would accommodate this, however I am sure there is. Bear in mind, this is a fishing village and there might not be a licensed... More
