Lovely clean beach offering lots of activities such as kite surfing, horse riding, camel riding and quad biking. Private areas to sunbath from different hotels and restaurants are doted around so wouldn't need to go too far for drinks and snacks!

Take a walk on the beach in any weather! We were there out of season, so we saw mostly locals playing football, running and just enjoying the freedom of bare wet feet and open space. The far end of the beach is not cleaned, but...More

Forget lying around in the sun, its way too windy BUT if you want to surf, wind surf, ride a camel or a horse or a quad bike this is the place to go!

Easily accessible and relatively clean beach. Just sat and relaxed on the beach so i cant comment on the quality of the water.

Was here in november, so not the time for swimming. Lovely to walk barefoot along the water though. Very few people out.

The beach was reasonably clean, we were lucky and had a fenced off area with our hotel. We enjoyed watching the locals playing football. There is plenty of action for all, wind surfing, body surfing, camel rides too.

This has to be one of the greatest beaches in the world.....but not for quiet sunbathing! the wind from the ocean is constant and makes this a vast and exciting venue for kite surfing. It is also a great walking beach, but be careful to...More

Yes, you can. Some people just lay out a towel whilst there are also a few sunbeds - not sure if totally 'public' or connected to bars. A lot of people use the beds at Beach & Friends - buy a drink or two and they're happy... More
from where to start trip to desert would be the easiest way avoiding unnecessary long driving with the tour guides?

Hi, I would recommend Ranch de Diabat. They are based about a mile from the beach and will come and pick you up. I know one of their guides does do trips into the desert, some of them several days long - I can't answer... More
