"Hidden" but visible at certain angles from the roads leading to the 1Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, the Secret Garden@rooftop 1Utama is a treasure trove of plant species. I love exploring and I loath shopping too long so I popped up here for a look one day. Gardens aren't really my thing but. Enjoyed the gentle stroll through with no idea the names of the plant life growing there. Nice break away from the shops.

Shopping at 1 Utama, one might never suspect that a beautifully curated collection of plant-life is up on the roof. Dizzying variety and extraordinary beauty mark the array of horticultural treasures here. Featuring samples of plants from habitats desert to jungle, and everything in between. And did you get that it's free? Just ride the elevator near the overpass connecting... More

It was actually a nice surprise for me and my family. We drive past the mall many times on the outside and always wonder how can we go up to this spot. It was pretty "secret", until we found the access to go up. It's a small garden at the roof top. Nicely decorated with variety of plants. If you're... More

A good & short walk at the greenery in the centre of shopping malls. A lot of variety of plantation to look for. A nice family outthing.

This is a relatively small garden on the roof top of the 1 Utama mall in Selangor, about 15 km from the Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpor, Malaysia. The place is free and opens only on Saturdays and Sundays as well as on public holidays. It contains some small trees and many flowers of different colors and shapes. There... More

It's a small space but Creative to plant variety of plants. It can be better if the management plant more trees and herbs at the roof TOP.

The garden was better than what i was expecting on a rooftop of the shopping malls. When you reached the guard counter, be sure to grab the simple handbook from the counter. It is beautifully designed, has good info on the plant varieties and a map of the plants distribution. The colors of the flowers, the plants and smell of... More

Didn't expect to see such a tranquil pond and greenery in a "monster" shopping place. I see kids feeding the koi in the garden.
