This was my go-to bar whilst I was working in Kuching for two weeks. Good prices, great beer and a good selection of malts (essential to a travelling Scot!)

A nice bar with soul and character in Jalan Carpenter (Chinatown), a great selection of single malts, a few beers on tap and many bottles, but no food. A great place to hang out before or after dinner.

Good place to take a break from walking the Carpenter Street in the evening. Cozy, serves good pint of Guinness draught. Interestingly decorated interior design. Worth a visit.

Right in the heart of the old town, plays cheesy but fun tunes and nice staff. Outside tables on the cobbled streets give you a good vibe of the town.

Found the Drunk Monkey by accident while walking around the Kuching waterfront area. The staff were friendly and the drinks were great. Great place to unwind and listen to some great music selection after a day of exploring Kuching.

Smack in the middle of Carpenter street, on a corner with outside seating the Drunk Monkey is a relaxing and popular place to drink in, not just with backpackers/tourists but locals too. Very chilled and relaxed. A good place to end the evening.

We came for drinks on a Saturday night, and no cocktails were served allegedly because the bartender was not working that day. Ordered a whisky and was given a paltry amount. Ambience was nice though, but overall experience could have been better.
