Right across the street from my hostel. Interesting, but not a must see. It is very central to the main tourist area.

The temple is very beautiful because the entire red temple symbolizes profits to the Chinese. The temple was built in the 17th century which was in 1770 and was named Siew San Teng Tua kong kong. NOTED: BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO KNOW HISTORY...More

It is a nice archticture, but it is small inside. There are some impressive objects inside. On the riverbank there are some three or four taoist temples. They create a nice atmosphere of the Chinatown of Kuching.

It's a truly beautiful Taoist temple that needs about 15-20 min to appreciate. There is a not many better in the Sarawak area from what I have seen.

Impressive Taoist temple located prominently at the waterfront. Ornate and colourful, it is said to have the best 'feng shui' in the city.

It doesn't take long to look round the temple but, if you're passing, it's worth stopping as it is impressive.

The older and beautiful temple. Must go and visit during Kuching TOWN trip. It became a check point in Kuching. It also located infront of waterfront with a beautiful river view.
