Just go if you need the usual magnets, key chains and wallets. Was able to find a few good things like terracota cat wind chimes and hand painted batik-style door stoppers.

We stayed in a hotel on teh river so used this walk to go into the town centre. It is pleasant enough for a stroll but not really any cafes etc along the way.

As you stroll down, you will encounter shops, restaurants, and views along the river. you can also walk down to the Fort Margherita.
