Beautiful river especially at sun rise and sun set. There are some activities from time to time. Food stalls are available. There are a few piers for pick up to across the river and river cruises. Good place for evening stroll. However, I have been advised by many to be aware of snatch thieves.

A stretch walkway along the waterfront allows your mind to enjoy some relaxing moments. I went for a walk after my hotel check in around 9.00pm, the place was still busy with locals and tourist. Some are just taking a stroll while some are having their dinner or may be early supper. I would recommend you to try the bun... More

Had time to jog early in the along the esplanade.. nice view of Kuching river and the other side of the river the Astana and Sarawak State Legislative Assembly. The walk path is reasonably clean.

A light stroll by the river is worth going once if u have nothing to do in evening. Also can buy the souvenirs at very affordable prices.

Great and cosy walking pathway. Views of the Kuching river and on the other shore the Astana and the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly.

We were very pleasantly surprised to stroll along the esplanade without being hassled or bothered buy people trying to sell stuff, the way that happens in other holiday destinations. The people are very friendly.

During the day you can enjoy the lovely river view. There are brass plaques on the floor all along the walkway that give you some history of Kuching. You can get on a boat to cross the local Muslim side. A lovely traditional area with a famous enough layer cake shop! You can also catch a small ferry of boat... More

This is a beautiful parade but it is only used for a very few hours per day. The spot is really amazing, nicely paved, with seating areas, clean and nicely lit at night but during the day it is empty and deserted, without food and drink stalls. It comes alive at night, if the weather is nice. (even in the... More

Very peaceful and popular with Locals to have desserts or sit at the food court for a good choice of food.
