A Mosque Near the Kuching Waterfront

The combination of colors used is very interesting. This building is surrounded by three blocks of cemeteries.

This mosque is nearby the local bus terminal and a short walk from Merdeka Plaza. There are quite a number of Muslim stalls in the vicinity.

Well, this mosque is little bit strange. It looks more like a hotel than a mosque. Indian style does not fit it at all in my opinion, I prefer little bit more history, this mosque is quite young, but surrounded cemetery is quite different, it is a real piece of history. I really don't know why the old mosque was... More

One of the very 1st mosque in Kuching. Also is a very unique mosque as it is on top of a hill and facing the river and surrounded by muslim grave yard.

Came to visit this beautiful mosque with my dear friends. This is special place for many Muslims in Kuching and those whom have lost their dearest. A lovely walk around the mosque and the view at the back of the mosque of the Sarawak river is amazing.

Interesting place with an interresting graveyard. When you take the city tour on a bike you visit this place.

Kuching Mosque located near the Sarawak Museum as well. It looks quite good in its architecture. However, I am unsure if tourist can enter the spot.

Seems like a fairly modern mosque which looks better from a distance than up close. I didn't bother going inside, but it's quite easily accessible from the main waterfront area if you don't mind a short walk.
