Land Below The Wind gave us an amazing day trip experience to the coral reefs outside KK city. Discover scuba diving is perfect for anyone who's trying diving for the first time ever. Our day included three dives and lunch at Gaya Island, and time just flew by. The instructors are very thorough and patient when explaining. We felt a bit nervous before going in but the careful attention of our instructor prepared us for the dive and made everyone comfortable. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly every step of the way, both on land and in the water. Don't be surprised if you make some new friends! The visibility was low due to the recent rainy weather, but despite that we saw a multitude of colorful fishes, corals and anemones. Compared to snorkling you really get close and personal with the sea life, which is beautiful to see. If you're in KK you have to try it once, and I can't recommend Land Below The Wind enough!

Very recommended place for new divers. My girlfriend and I booked Jack’s and his team from land below the wind for a day of scuba dive. It was my first dive and my girlfriend was more experienced with an open water cert. The day started nicely when we were given discounts for our dive. We were brought to Sapi island, one of the most beautiful place to dive in Sabah. I started on the wrong foot and had alot of difficulty breathing under the water. Jack did not gave me up and he was super patient to help me overcome my phobia. Eventually, we were successful. Under the water, expect to see many marine creatures like lobster, razorfish, grouper, parrotfish, butterflyfish and of course Nemo! The whole journey the dive master made sure that safety is our number one priority. After the dive, it did not end there. Jack invited us to his house with his crew for a seafood BBQ. We enjoyed his hospitality and had a few round of drinks at his place. Kudos to Jack, Ah b, Kim for their professionalism and we are sure to visit again when we opt to advance our diving cert. :) Best regards, John

We had 2 amazing dives with Manu and Fez around Sapi and Gaya islands and were very impressed with their professionalism and their dive centre. The team are really passionate about the biodiversity and topography of the area and convey this in their dive briefs and throughout the day, even collecting plastic from the seabed when they found it. The equipment is well looked after and they go at your own pace so even though we're AOW divers, we're still quite new to diving but we felt completely relaxed. The guys are also great fun to be around and really made our day by incorporating skills we wanted to work on during the dives, like peak buoyancy etc, with seeing as much aquatic life as possible. Especially loved the cleaning stations. Thanks Manu and Fez, can't wait to dive with you again.
