Much quieter than the City (floating) Mosque in KK but equally as impressive in its own way. Lovely to sketch! Very little shade outside so as well as being respectful you will save yourself from burning in the relentless tropical sun by covering up properly...More

This is Sabah state mosque but not as beauty as the one located at Tanjung Lipat. Worth to take some photo as it is located at city center.

Worth a stop. One of the larger Mosque's we have visited. Beautiful architecture and setting, the domes are real gold. We were not able to go inside for it was prayer time. This is the official state mosque. Not sure they will allow none Muslims...More

Went here for Jumaat praying. Nice landscape of the mosque. Need a little bit maintenance on the toilet & wudu' area. Ample of parking space. Must visit for the tourist.

Went here with friends, and the golden dome was quite a sight up close! Would recommend to visit here when you go to Sabah.

We didn't go inside but stopped off on our way back from Sabah museum (it's about 10 mins away by foot). Very impressive building!

Friday was a prayer day and we were not allowed into the Mosque.

It is walking distance from Tanjung Aru but pavements aren’t great and disappear all together in places -it’s probably much easier to take a Grab (download the App) and only about RM 6-7
