Beautiful islands, great snorkelling in clear waters and a bit of fun zip lining between the two islands. Definitely a good value day out.

SCUBA diving in KK - So many to chose from (5 Replies)
Hi all, We are going to be in KK for our honeymoon in June and we both want to go diving and do our PADI Open Water and obviously what a place to do it! The problem is that there are so many places to do it. I have sent various emails to the dive centres in and around KK and all seem to offer the same sort of thing for around the same price. The question is has anyone actually experienced what they are live. So far I like the sounds of - * Borneo Dream * Down Below * Diverse...More

Well, they all offer diving, but that's where the similarities end. One of the differences is from where. Borneo Dream, Sabah Divers and Diverse all have offices in the city only and do boat dives, dock in the public jetty and has surface intervals on one of the island with all the other tourists. Downbelow is the only one of the 4 with city offices and also a dive centre on an island (Gaya island), their boats go from Sutera Harbour and doc at the island there and surface intervals...More

DanGoGo, Very sorry I have no experience of Diverse Borneo. Mmm, staying close to Jesselton Point? Jesselton point is a "busy city pier." The off shore marine park is where you need to swim, snorkel, sea walk, dive. Check anyone out via T.A. So they meet your standards before booking. Yes; not so easy to answer. Would you wife remain ashore?, Hotel, shopping, Malls, sight seeing? All are available in KK. Mountains and orang utan's not a so simple answer. Without being rude, please read...More
