We got an uber to the museum (5RM) and entry for foreigners is 15RM. Very cheap! The museum itself is very interesting. There are several floors including the history of Sabah and natural history. I believe there were more areas e.g. a botanical area but...More

Outside section was cool to take a walk in the morning with bird songs. It was like a tiny jungle trecking. Loved it

Entrance fee for Malaysians are RM2 and frankly, I wasn't expecting much. Layouts of exhibits were direct and sadly, dull. Spent about 30 minutes going through all 4 exhibits. One was closed when I visited in December 2017.

Up a hill about 5 mins drive from the city centre. Pretty old museum and one can see that the exhibitions have remained the same over the many years. In the centre hall are the bones of the largest whale caught in the world. There...More

An insight to the history and wildlife of Sabah. Everything from head-hunting to animals found in the are. There is a small museum dedicated to the old railway, a cafe and of course there is a gift shop.
