Beautiful Beach - much better than Sapi Island!

We visited Manukan in the afternoon as part of an island hopping ticket. Had some lovely food in a little local cafe and a nice swim. Not too much to see whilst snorkelling, but... read more

The beaches could be nice if the tourists was respecting their environment. I saw many of them throw the rubbish on the beach, without remorse, really sad! then everything is so expensive over there, crazy! Bathing is limited, unfortunatly! I didn't really enjoy my time there.

We visited Manukan in the afternoon as part of an island hopping ticket. Had some lovely food in a little local cafe and a nice swim. Not too much to see whilst snorkelling, but nice to swim around and look at the coral all the same. Much less crowded compared to Sapi Island and generally a more pleasant place to... More

Visited the island today and was nice to get away from the main city for the day. Found a very nice secluded spot and listened to the sound of the sea.

If you're planning a day trip remember your mosquito spray and that there is a conservation charge when you reach the island. We stayed on the island so got to see the empty beaches. (Note-its not like this during the day!) There are limited options for food and be prepared to wait to be served as the kitchens are small.... More

Got a boat over from our hotel and spent the whole day here. Sand was nice and water was clean. Lovely spot for snorkelling as there were many different fish of all sizes as well as sea urchins. There's a little shop for food, however I did see the staff fishing out a dead fly from one of the pre... More

Enjoyed a day here swimming, beach nice for Asian country standards, white sand, clear water, fish swimming around, not good for snorkelling so wouldnt come here for that, few options for food and drinks, prices pretty average for an island and still really cheap for what we pay in Australia, you can have a BBQ buffet, we chose the other... Did the island hopping on Manukan and Sapi island day trip and left as soon as we could. Manukan island is hell on earth! Its crowded - full of Chinese tourists swimming in full clothing taking selfies with selfie sticks. The beach is very dirty and with very little places to sit. Don't think you can come here and relax... More

Fantastically organised by Downbelow Adventures - diving, snorkelling and idyllic beach villa. Snorkelling from the beach, clear waters and plenty of activities if you want to do more.
