Beautiful sights in Putrajaya View of Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, also known as Masjid Besi. A modern mosque at the water's edge noted for its Chinese- & German-influenced steel architecture. I was lucky enough to get this picture when lightning flashed. This picture was taken on 10/7/2020, from Dorsett Putrajaya.

The 'iron' mosque - it is a special one to see, and one of two incredible mosques in such close proximity. Well worth a visit to appreciate.

Very beautiful mosque in Putrajaya for muslim to perform a prayer and iktikaf. Open for non moslem to visit and explore the beautiful of the mosque. Built with steel structure and offer superb view of Putrajaya. Public transport not very frequent but the visitor can take e-hailing taxi from Putrajaya Sentral to go here and the fare about RM5-RM7 per ride.

When we got to the main entry we were stopped and asked which country we were from and if we were Muslim. When we responded no we were then told the mosque closed all day, despite other people obviously coming and going. Very disappointing to come from KL for this.

Also known as Iron Mosque (Masjid Besi), it is second largest mosque in Putrajaya after Putra Mosque. The parking is easy and spacious. The open prayer hall concept a bit uncomfortable for ladies thus the men could see the ladies performing their prayers. It is also not a user friendly mosque. The ablution areas is at the downstairs and quite far from the main prayer hall, for the elderly people is difficult for them to walk and the escalator seldom working.
