It looks like a mosque from a distance.A must photo stop if you go to Putrajaya for touristy purposes. There's Dataran Putra where you'll stop at and disembark from your transport and check out the surroundings. Tourists cannot go inside but can go near it and click photographs.

This is the office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Unfortunately, the building and complex isn’t open to the general public. The area does look nice though, as befits the place of parliamentary business of Malaysia. This building is the most prominent of the whole complex, not only for the design, but also because it’s on the highest point of the complex. It’s a lovely example of east meets western architecture. The centre of the building is Malay influenced Indo-Islamic, while the wings on either side of the centre are nice examples of Neoclassical designs.

A good excuse for a day trip from KL to see this building.

Wonderful Structure of the Prime Minister's office. Too bad entrance is not allowed but the view is really amazing. Cant help but to take photos. Getting there is easy. Take bus 101, at the bus stop, it doesnt look like anything is there but if you walk further, you can see the "selera laman perdana" (food court) beside Perdana Putra. There is also another captivating pink mosque beside the Minister's office. You can have the view of the bridge as well. There is also another food court beside the mosque, a bit pricey compare to the one beside the perdana putra. Peaceful place. great to unwind. Putrajaya cruise is available there or you can take the bus tour located at the putrajaya sentral station 2nd floor. they offer a tour called "the best of putrajaya". It'll cover the masjid mosque, perdana putra, putrajaya bridge, picc and much more for only 1RM including tour guide. THis offer is only available during sat-sun at 2pm.

Got there on an early morning from KL, no traffic jam!!!
The Perdana Putra is a very nice landmark of Putrajaya. It's with greenies, a marvellous place where the PM of Malaysia and his cabinet reside, surrounded with line of trees and official buildings in the vicinity, many photo ops, recommend for early morning with a walk around the landmark.

It has the promise of a western icon, with the mix of Asia but just doesn't look right. The long colonial facade is reminiscent of London and the dome of Istanbul - but unlike the beauty of, say, St. Petersburg, it just seems bland and uninteresting.

Almost nothing in Putrajaya is unappealing. The result of a well planned Administrative Capital nestled between hills with a lake is somewhat the framework of many purpose built capitals. As with Australia's Canberra, the City reaks of symmetry and style and prominent bridges and other landmarks. The buildings of the Prime Minister and the Mosque are stand outs and best viewed from the top of the hill at the International Convention Centre. This is where one will ideally witness the spendor and layout of Putrajaya.

This place makes me feel proud of my country. Putrajaya is one of the established city in Malaysia, and these buildings, architecture, roads, road plan, bridges, lights, really amazed me!

I don't know how it can be regarded as an attraction when you don't have any thing to do here. When we went here it was extremely hot and while looking around there were no benches or shaded places. We stayed in this area for few minutes but did not know what to do.
