Hmm. The artwork around the building was good and, with the right perspective on your phone, you can get some fun shots, but it falls short of other trick art museums where they have an app you use to animate the art as you’re standing there. Without this, some of the illusions here fall flat and my kids were bored by the end. Also, I agree the staff could be more pleasant. We went on a rainy day, and also went to the glass museum which was much more fun.

The artwork pieces include sculptures and illusion paintings. All the pieces featured at the museum are locally made, which is one of the unique aspects that Penang 3D Trick Art Museum is proud to share. The price is affordable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

A nice experience that I am having in the museum. You can find that every arts in the museum have their special style. I am happy that I meet a skillful photographer that can snap my photo very clearly and beautifully . Those arts have used the trick art of illusion that makes me amazed. Just remember there will be admission fees......A nice places for snap photo with family too

Fun. The best part is the air conditioning. Tickets are 25 ringgit. The price listed in the front desk of 15 ringgit is the price for locals. Good activity for families, couples and solo travels too.

We felt the tickets were expensive for what you get to see inside. The pictures did not give much good 3D feel. We have been to other truck eye museums which were really good. We felt like wasting our time and money.

Just be clear about what this actually is. It's a bunch of very average quality murals with very basic and sometimes poor perspective on them. You walk around and get a friend or staff to take your picture.
The place is full of screaming kids.
I walked through it in 5 minutes and just left. Do not recommend.

There are some amazing sidewalk-chalk artists out there making brilliant perspective art, and this place hired their nephew's cousin with a learning disability to paint.
Now, admittedly, that's not quite fair - there were 2-3 scenes which were kind of cool, and they even had some props for the skydiving room. But overall - no. Skip.

We went to this art museum and was really looking forward to it. When we got there we paid 25MYR for entry then straight into the museum.
Well...to say I was disappointed is an understatement. We thought it would be brilliant based on reviews on here but was really let down. May sound harsh but when taking photos you could see the creases from the walls so hard to get a decent pic. The staff were lovely though and helped us get best pictures we could.
I don't think it was worth 25MYR as it was small and we done it all in 15mins! This is just my opinion but wouldn't bother going if I'd have known what I do now. Tourist trap.

We just left the museum today and are sorry we ever went! A very small building with a few paintings on the wall to take (pretty ordinary) pictures. Staff followed us around offering no help or assistance despite explaining several times that I wasn't sure where/how to pose for the photo. There was a boyfriend/girlfriend couple who were clearly much more interested chatting and cuddling amongst themselves than helping our family! We spent about 15 minutes in this place but even that was a waste of time. I wish we'd never wasted our money here!
