If in Penang it is well worth the trip up to the top of Penang Hill the views from the top are fantastic and there are plenty of good eating places and a lot of old colonial history

We had a wonderful Penang Hill experiences with Nature Walks. We found them on FB providing guided nature tours. The guides were knowledgeable, experienced & friendly too. They are the BEST up at Penang Hill.

Parts of it under construction but didn’t affect us much. There were a lot of people and big queues waiting to get onto the tram. Worth going on a good sunny day.

I know, I am visiting Penang every year once and it’s always 50% that they will be closed for some reason. It’s only 1 track and pretty old and I guess it brakes often so no guarantees. There are other ways how to get up... More
