At first, I thought this would just be another ordinary spa place to go to. I was wrong! When I entered the spa, the aromatherapy oil fragrance was in the air which gave the spa a wonderful ‘air freshener’ scent. I was greeted by a lovely lady named Ms Jamuna (i knew later was the Assistant Manager). She was friendly, spoke well and had a pleasant personality. She was very informative about what each therapy session would be. The interior design of the place was nice and had a rustic feel to it. A cute little section thereafter was the foot cleansing area which therapist would wash your feet before your session. The therapy rooms had a very peaceful and calm ambience which was so relaxing the moment I stepped in.
Had amazing sessions of the aromatherapy massage, facial and sea salt scrub. The aromatherapy loosened all tensed muscles especially at my neck and back. The aromatherapy certified organic oils had such a therapeutic, and relaxing smell that I fell asleep! The therapist I was assigned was fantastic and extremely skilled and knew ‘exactly’ where to put the right pressure. The full body sea salt scrub was extremely invigorating and exfoliating. It left my skin so smooth, soft and fresh. The facial was very soothing, non greasy and again very therapeutic which left my skin absolutely glowing.
All in I had a wonderful 3 1/2 hours of excellent aromatherapy. This is by far the BEST spa place I’ve ever been for a massage and facial. I would definitively return for more therapies when I’m in Penang and will definitively recommend Eco Wellness Sanctuary in Penang to all I know. This spa provides good quality service! Clean, Good Massage and a Serene place to be when you are tired in the midst of Penang town.
SOP for covid well adhered to.
Since its located next to a busy road, occasional noisy engine sound can be heard if using the front massage hall.
Overall, it was a good experience.

Located in a shop house across the street from a few shopping Malls, this place is a little sanctuary from the busy street. They offer Thai, aromatherapy and foot massages.
The therapist who do the massages are all from Thailand. Starting with a foot wash ... the treatments are pretty good.
We went back twice in our short stay in Georgetown and each time, Risha was there. She took reservations and also assign the Therapists. She is warm and friendly and seemed to manage the place.
We would come back again if visiting Penang.

We stumbled upon this place and gave it try! This place is amazing and you won't regret their quality service! Took their 90mins Aromatherapy massage. They used good quality organic oil and their masseuses are all from Thai. I totally love the ambience too. I asked for a strong massage even though it was pain but after the massage my body felt relax. You should visit here if ure in Georgetown!

My mum and I were there this afternoon at 3.30pm for aromatherapy massage and thai massage. My therapist was pretty good as she tried to work around my injury when doing the massage. My mum's therapist was just so so.
I only gave 3 star because the business accepts cash only. The friendly Indian manager told us that the credit card machine wasn't working. It was really inconvenient that I needed to walk to nearby ATM to withdraw cash. It was rainy and I didn't feel safe to withdraw cash in the Komtar vicinity. I was advised when I arrived for appointment that the card machine was down and I needed to pay cash. In hindsight I should just walk away.

Hi there...we apologise firstly for the delayed response. We are sorry you had an inconvenience at our spa. Just would like to let you know that the credit card machine had been a source of difficulty for us and we had actively been wrangling with the bank to sort it out for quite some time. They had replaced it a couple of times but we still encountered the same issues. We have since changed providers and shortly after your visit and now everything works well.

Tried the 60-minute Thai and 90-minute aromatherapy massages - the aromatherapy massage was fine but the Thai massage was unbelievably good! Strong enough for that wonderful going-to-melt post-massage effect but not so intense that it left me too bruised/stretched for daily massages.
The biggest downside for us was that the room we were in (a couples room) faced the main road and the traffic noise (particularly the screeching motorcycles) was jarring. We had asked for music to be played to help drown out the noise a little but for whatever reason, that didn't happen (and may not have made enough of a difference). Best to bring your own ear plugs if you think that will spoil your massage or ask for a room away from the road.
One thing we didn't expect was how busy they were - fortunately we had made reservations as they were fully booked the day of our massage even though it was a weekday.

The place is nearby our hotel where we stay. Had a foot massage for Day 1 & Day 2. Requested for same therapist (Cheryl). She frm Thailand n speak little English & Malay and was very friendly. Highly recommended if you are at Georgetown, Penang

Good location , friendly staff. In love with the session very much. Located strategically at Georgetown area. Room is comfortable and we got the VIP room for our treatment. The foot scrub is good as well

Chanced upon this place en route to Pinang Spa House and we were so glad we took a detour. The whole experience the minute u step in is great. We took the 60 min foot massage (~80 MYR) and by the end of it, we were so impressed we booked a 90min aromatherapy massage the next day! Price wise, it is definitely pricier compared to the other spa places but I will still highly recommend you give it a try.
One thing to note: they charge both service and gst but I think it’s well worth it.

Was here today with my fiance. They were so friendly! Note that we didnt had a booking just walk back from shopping and they could take us at once. Which was perfect. So friendly stuff and we loove the massage. Took the aromatherapy treatment 60 min. Highly recommend.
