This mosque is the state mosque of Pahang. It's a nice looking Malaysian Modernist style building with a large baby blue onion dome at the centre with four smaller domes surrounding it. At the corner the building are four high towers (possibly they're minarets. There was a lecture going when I visited, but the caretaker was kind enough to let me in anyway. The caretaker was kind enough to give me a tour of the inside and a clock to wear to look inconspicuous. Which was great as the inside has some great tiles and stained glass windows.

Mosques in Malaysia are beautiful.
We walked as it’s near to our hotel.
Patrons and staff were friendly and allowed us to enter even though visitor hours were over I believe and gave us the dress to cover ourselves.
I believe we were the only tourist here and all eyes were on us.
A must visit I would say.

For Muslims, do make it a must to visit and perform sunnah prayer, relaxing, joining events.
For non Muslims, do drop by to visit, however, please observe the rules such as wearing suitable attire.
It is very easy to locate, the beautiful minarets can be seen from afar. Beautiful architechture! Cool.

As a non Muslim I was very impressed with this place of worship I visited it after my dinner and The was it was lit up was very impressive. It was on a Tuesday evening and there is a market in the adjacent car park so that was a bonus

Magnificent mosque inside and outside. The mosque is named after the first ruler of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Mu'adzam.
The mosque have 4 minaret and all of them are covered with marbles. Is very large and can accommodate up to 10,000 people. Beautiful architecture i guess looks more into Ottoman style.

This is Pahang's state mosque and has an Ottomon Moorish style architecture. There are four minarets and a large half round dome flanked by four smaller domes. It is especially beautiful when lit up at night.

A lovely mosque to view and spend an hour or so at. You can also visit inside the mosque at the relevant visiting times but proper attire is required (signs at the entrance tell you)
Once inside you can wonder around but as I found out, upstairs appears to be out of bounds!

Very clean and well maintain, being the largest mosque in Kuantan. It's huge and very spacious. It can easily take in several thousand worshippers. But on Fridays, the amount of worshippers will overflow to the outsides of the building. It's located strategically in the center of the CBD, so you can't miss it. But, you may want to avoid it during Friday noon prayers as the whole area will be inundated with people rushing in or out of the mosque.

One of the most beautiful mosques I've seen. It is great especially in the night. I love Malaysian mosques in general even I am not Muslim. They are more beautiful than Turkish. Probably, it is restricted to tourist during the prays and religious holidays...

Welcomed warmly at entrance and then robed before entering. Stunning architecture and beautiful colours dazzle the eyes. Heloful attendant show you arounf and advice on decorum. A real highlight of kuantan.
