This is "The" place one must go for good strawberry. Our family loves this farm. My children used to enter into the farm to self pluck their strawberry when they were young. It is a place not to be missed every time we visit Cameron Highland. We also enjoy their strawberry jam. They have less sugar option, too. Parking can be a problem during peak season.

Conveniently located within walking distance from Copthorne hotel, EQ Strawberry farm has been around for many, many years. I highly recommend this place for first timers, families with young children or if you're just craving to hunt for fresh strawberries.

Entrance is free but to enter the strawberry farm to pick the strawberries, you'd have to choose if you want pick 1/2 kg or 1 kg strawberries and be given a styrofoam tray. Prices (as of August 2020) are:

1/2 kg - RM 30
1 kg - RM 60

After picking your own strawberries, your tray will be weighed and then proceed to pay. If you chose 1 kg earlier and final weight is 1.3 kg for example,. you'll pay more for the 300g.

Overall, a nice relaxing activity and should be included in your trip to Cameron Highlands.

This farm was just at the entrance to Copthorne hotel and Equatorial Hill Resort where we stayed. It was opened only for limited hours. You could pick your own strawberries or just buy the ready picked ones, which were cheaper. Strawberries were OK, not really sweet. The ice-cream was nice, and the bottled strawberry jam was OK.

Dont depend on this place for your strawberry picking as they close early which is not really customer friendly. The day we went they told us they closed at 1:30 PM which means you can only go in the morning, they are not so flexible. While their strawberries may be good what is the use if you are not allowing people to enter.

So was disappointing experience for us

Strawberry farm just next to our hotel. So lucky the strawberries are ready to harvest. My kids are having fun when they picked their own strawberries! unfortunately the next day we plan to visit again, but they are closed due the self picked farm are out of strawberry. It is because due to the school holidays super peak season.

This place has the best strawberries! Organic, abit expensive but they last longer and is sweet. This is my 2nd visit and they owner even teach you how you can identify the sweet strawberries.

They turn on chanting music for the strawberries to grow healthily and the of course means the strawberries is fantastic!

This trip was a little sad because on my first time the owner introduced us to his organic mushroom which we ordered and they cook on the spot for us to eat and enjoy the cooling weather.

So since its my 2nd time, I came here with the intention of picking my own strawberries and eat it while eating the mushrooms. But the owner wasnt around and the workers said there’s no more mushroom. Throughout my 3 days on cameron I revisited hoping to eat their mushrooms but didnt get to try it.

Till next time~

This strawberry farm was the closest to the hotel we were staying at (and close to Kea Farm) and was thus the easiest option when we decided to go strawberry picking. I think the process is much the same for all - pay some money, get a tray and scissors and get shown the section you can harvest. The rules here were only two people could harvest but they weren’t fussed that I accompanied as photographer.

The strawberries were in rows of hanging baskets and rows of white plastic covered tubes. We took back the tray but were under the allowed 500 grams amount, so went back and harvested more and ending up paying for the extra. It was an experience my daughter wanted to do and enjoyed. I got some nice photos. We liked eating the strawberries too.

Ive always seen it beside Copthorne Hotel entrance but never checked it out. Boy it has awesome homemade ice cream!! Im completely into it. The price is good and there are many variances in the menu. If you fancy some strawberry picking you can go in ( for free even if you didnt pick anything). The area is at a rather steep hillside so if you're bringing older/wheelchair it's not really comfortable.

I like strawberry here. The owner told me it is an organic strawberry farm, he turn on the Dharma chanting music for his plants. I went inside with a foam tray to pick up the strawberry I should the deep red color, the green stub is raised and a deep groove is ready to eat than weight them and pay for it. There is a sample of fresh strawberries at the counter before deciding. There strawberries ice cream is really good too.
