You can see butterflies closely. Most of the butterflies are of same varieties. Facilities like toilets etc are horrible. Half and hour is good enough to cover this place... read more

This garden upgrading their view and pets. They plan lots of new species flowers. If you have children, there's more fan by exploring their mindset there.

We went here as part of a tour and we thought it was disgraceful. The staff were mad-handling the snakes, insects and turtles as if it were some sort of joke, and the majority of the butterflies we saw had broken wings from people touching them. Although I disagree with the notion entirely, if this place is to continue operating,... More

I visited the butterfly gardens as part of a tour - had it not been for that, I don't think I would have visited. The gardens start off nice - there are tonnes of butterflies flying about you as you enter, and great photo opportunities abound. However, the rest of the attraction is a bit boring, and downright depressing when... More

We are a family of 4 - 2 kids 11 and 13 and a couple. Cameron Highlands were our second destination - 3 days of a 3 weeks vacation in Malaysia. Extensive travel experience and have to confess that our expectations are high. The butterfly garden habits - in addition to butterflies - some insect like a Leaf Insects, a... More

Entrance fee 7rm It seems to have just one type of butterfly roaming but there are other parts to see. The guide showed us all the reptiles/amphibians housed in the park. It seemed though that were not being taken care of diligently, but well, the environment around is quite natural anyway. But i feel sad for the 40-year old tortoise.... More

My kids (12, 9, 6) enjoyed interacting with the butterflies. We got to hold them and take amazing photos. They have another section where you get to see different types of flowers and few small animals. Unfortunately the place isn't very clean and using their bathrooms is out of the question.
