I thought this was an enriching and rewarding experience. we spent about 6-7 hours going up and down Gunung Jasar, walking through the Cameron Valley tea plantation, which also had its fair share of slopes albeit with actual footpaths, and finally having our rest at the teahouse. It was rewarding because we made it! Jason was our guide and he... More

My wife and I booked the trekking at fathers guesthouse one day in advance. The lady at the counter was super friendly and explained in detail what to expect. After 5 minutes we had booked the trek for the next day :) Our group (6 people) meet at fathers guesthouse around 8 am. After everyone introduced him/herself we were ready... More

We decided to buy a guided tour to explore Cameron Highlands for the whole day (9h00-17h00), but we have been a bit disappointed by the attractions proposed. we visited cactus point and time tunnel that they should definitely cancel from the tour. We spent arount 90 MYR (that is a lot) to visit around 7-8 attractions, but finally we regreted... More

We went for the jungle trek, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay at the Cameron Highlands. The trek itself is beautiful, and our guide (Jason) was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout.

As many wrote before, Jason is an awesome guide. He knows everything about the nature and the social and political situation, as he used to work as an enviromental lawyer. He speaks perfect english, does not walks too fast and encourages you to ask every question you want. we did the jungle walk with him and had a great time.... More

We did the 6 hour jungle trek and tea plantation visit with guide Jason. It was fantastic. It was challenging at some moments , but doable when fit :). Jason's guiding was splendid, great knowledge, great story-telling, funny :). Highly recommended!

We did the "Jungle Walk with Guide - Cameron Valley Descent". It is an amazing tour. Highly recommended. Jason is fantastic and his knowledge of the rain forest makes it very special. The tour start at about 8:15 and you walk for about 5 hours through the jungle, up to the mountain and down to the tea plantation. Take note... More

I had an amazing time on a tour with Jason. He is very knowledgeable and will teach you a lot about flora and fauna of the forest. The trek involved Jasar mountain ascent, and it was so much fun. I got to experience a real jungle walk, quite hard but possible even for an inexperienced hiker like myself. We all... More

We had an incredible day with Jason hiking through the Cameron highlands. The trek is around 6 hours and first takes you up to the peak via gardens and jungle, and then down to the tea plantations through the Mossy forest and pure jungle! The day finishes at the tea plantation where you can enjoy a cup of tea and... More

Never expected such an incredible trekking adventure across the tropical rainforest and Jason was the best guide ever! He seemed to know every possible flora and fauna in the forest. The descent trail into the Bharat tea estate, after the ascent to the Gunang Jasar seemed mostly unused, which means that it was not usually frequented by tourists. Definitely recommended... More
