Our visit to this hidden gem in Seremban was an absolute delight! We spent a lovely half hour exploring the area, basking in the tranquility and charm. The ample parking was convenient, and the stunning views were a feast for the eyes. The captivating structures offer a unique glimpse into the local culture, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful break.

The temple on the hill is a highlight, providing breathtaking panoramic views of Seremban. The walk up is invigorating, but driving is also an option. At the top, the serene atmosphere and beautiful gazebo are perfect for relaxing. This location is ideal for family outings, with fun activities for children like feeding the fishes and turtles. For couples, it’s a romantic and peaceful retreat.

Overall, this place adds incredible value to Seremban’s charm. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the area, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness.

After our visit, we had an amazing lunch at Restoran Capati & Briyani, located at 13G, Jalan Coco Drive 1, Taman Bandar Senawang, 70450 Seremban. They serve the best cheese naan and chapati in town, with a perfect blend of authentic flavors and exceptional service. We tried the mutton briyani, chocolate naan, garlic cheese naan, chicken tandoori, and mutton karahi – all were prepared to perfection.

The restaurant offers easy parking and a welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for a delightful lunch at an affordable price of RM 1–20 per person. Whether you love spicy Pakistani-style briyani or soft, delicious chapati with original sauce, Restoran Capati & Briyani promises a memorable dining experience. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you; the food here is spectacular!

Overall, our visit was an exhilarating experience that combined the serene beauty of the temple with the exceptional culinary delights of Restoran Capati & Briyani. This outing is a must-do for anyone in Seremban, promising both memorable sights and unforgettable flavors!

A steep drive uphill. The old temple was halfway up the hill to your right. But now the new temple is right on top of the hill. Nice panoramic view. This temple is pretty neat. There are colorful statues on the hill. A huge centipede too! Tortoises are also in a pond. A quiet place just to relax.

This temple known as the centipede temple is the Then Tse Temple and is located along Jalan Temiang, at the peak of Bukit Jung or Wu Gong Hill. This temple was established in 1864 and receives a lot of visitors. From the bottom of the hill, visitors have to climb over 260 steps to reach the temple. This Taoist Buddhist temple has a lot of images of deities of both the Taoist and Buddhist pantheon. There is also a legend surrounding a centipede which gave this temple its nickname. Lovely views and cool breezes can be enjoyed from the hill top the temple sits on. Worth a visit if in the area.

You can choose to walk up the hill if you parked downhill, there is stairs provided, but you can also drive up (which I recommend). When you go into the temple, it is divided into few sections. You can also get a full view of Seremban from the temple. I recommend you to take some time in the gazebo because it will be very windy, I swear.

A small temple with lots of god statues and giant stone centipede. This temple is just near to my hometown and i had to follow my mum once as she wanted to visit the temple. Apparently, if you touch the centipede, it brings you luck. I find that hilarious but absolutely adorable. I gave it a try, nothing to lose. lol

The Then Sze Temple, commonly known as Centipede Temple is perch on top of a small hilltop of Bukit Jong, just off Seremban town. It’s a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary.

On the front side, there are several gentle flights of steps that zig-zaged it’s way up the slope of the small hill-lock. On the back of the temple, there is tarred rock that leads from the main road, up a steep slope towards the temple. A small parking space can be found just before the temple.

At the small compound of the temple, there are several figurines of Chinese deities and several pavilions. A large standing sculpture of an innocuously smiling Goddess of Mercy, Guan Yin with miniature rock garden is located at the front of the small temple building. The atmosphere here is breezy, peaceful and blissful, and the gentle ripples of water flowing into the miniature rock garden give a soothing and peaceful atmosphere.

A small concrete foot path leads under the shady trees towards a Guan Ti pavilion. Along the shady foot path are several figurines of the Eight Immortals under lush and shady tress. The Guan Ti pavilion perch proudly over the cliff, and offers a serene and panorama view of Seremban town. The Guan Ti pavilion comes with beautifully crafted stone pillars with a dragon motif, with a sitting sculpture of a stern and serious looking Guan Ti in the center of the pavilion.

There are also colourful sculptures of the Monkey King and other characters from the Chinese classic tale of Journey to the West.

The Centipede Temple is a famous landmark in Seremban. It offers a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere, with a nice and breath-taking view of Seremban town.

The best reward for visiting would be the view of seremban...and you will see the destruction all around! It's an old temple with lots of history. the best thing about it culturally is that you will find a surau, and an indian temple right beside it...YES...not something you can easily find in malaysia. There's still lots of improvement work going on. Park at the foot of the 'hill' and walk up..that is a better way to enjoy it
