I first found out about the tour from the Andaman hotel and jumped on the opportunity to go bird-watching with a guide. But quite honestly, this was the first time my friend and I had ever gone on serious bird-watching attempt and our guide, Fendi, probably felt like he was bringing two schoolchildren out on a field trip - we... Our favourite day on our holiday in Langkawi combining both our interests - birds and rocks! Fendi took us out on the mangrove where we spotted mudskippers, kingfishers, monitor lizards, snakes, white bellied eagles and kites. I didn't know much about mangrove ecology but I learnt so much from Fendi on our morning trip out. Boat trip was very pleasant... More

Great tour of the mangrove by boat with Fendi, our guide. Fortunate enough to witness birds in their natural environment, especially the majestic white bellied sea eagles.

Elis took us out on the mangrove + swimming tour, and was knowledgable about the plants and wildlife that we saw, and the significance of the mangroves during the 2004 tsunami. We didn't get to see many animals as it rained earlier on, but we still managed to spot the white bellied sea eagle and brahminy kite which really made... More

Stayed at The Andaman and signed up for this Mangrove Cruise Tour organised by JungleWalla Tours. It was a great experience to witness some "Live National Geographic" such as Pit Viper, Monitor Lizard, Cave Bats, White Bellies Sea Eagle etc. Our guide Fuad has amazing in-depth knowledge of the mangrove and gave us an insightful edutainment on the swamps of... Without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia. We took the mangrove river trip and were not disappointed. Our guide Elis was so knowledgable and was able to answer any questions we had. We saw so much wildlife and the trip on the whole was ace! I have already recommended it to a few people who... More

We stayed at the Andaman and Junglewalla are the tour group associated with this hotel. We did the morning nature walk around the Andaman with Elis - she was lovely. Very knowledgeable of the varying flora and fauna around the hotel and always had a smile on her face. It was a short walk lasting about an hour including stops... More

Perfect from beginning to the end. The guide Hermi is a gem. He told us many interesting things about geology, wildlife and the mangroves. Would recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic guides especially Hermi and Irshard. Thank you for telling us so much about the wildlife and plants in the Datai bay. We will always remember these walks as they were magical and informative, spanning theories of evolution as well as focusing on minute details - highly recommend Hermi and Irshard! Craig and Julia
