The waterfall is quite nice although very small. You can swim in it but there are lots of locals visiting so it is very crowded

After a super-hot hike during which you may or may not see monkeys, you get to a rock face with some water trickling down the front. You learn the water is pumped uphill and fed by hoses. On the plus side, at the bottom people sell terrific, cold coconuts.

A short walk through the jungle (about 5 minutes) then you should be able to see it but it was completely dried up when we visited. Nothing more than a small stream. If you climb some beaten up steps you can go swimming but personally the water was very dirty and lots of litter lying around. Didn’t look to fresh.

Some amazing pictures on a fallen free from the bottom however looking up where the waterfall should be!

I’d skip out unless you had a good rain storm eh day before!

Went here for a quick visit , there are two waterfalls one is sown the bottom at the end of the path way is a nice little rock pool the other is up further however we couldnt go up there because it looked like the walk way had a bit of a landslide and we had small children with us so it wasnt safe enough. Left dissapointed as it would have been nice to see the larger waterfall pool.

Beautiful natural waterfall across the road from the man made waterfall.
The walk up to the pool at the side of the waterfall needs good sandals that grip as the stone steps are steep and uneven. Beautiful once there although the odd piece of rubbish spoils it. Sadly while we were there people were using shampoo and washing their hair and leaving their rubbish 😳😥 nature needs to be respected.

Steep climb to the base of the falls. But the view is spectacular. Has a stall selling Mexican food across the road.

Do not bother going unless you check with the locals on whether there has been rain.
If there's a dry spell, there will be no waterfall

We were there at around 9.30 am and there was no one around. The toilets were not opened. It was a steep walk with uneven steps. About 5 mins to reach the waterfall.

The guard warned us about holding plastic bags in our hands as the monkeys were fierce and would think that we had food in our plastic bags. We quickly put all plastic bags into our haversacks.

We had the Langkawi 'maffias' (monkeys) as companions when we reached the waterfall. They kept looking at us and were ready to pounce and grab any plastic bags or foodstuff. We did not stare at them directly and after a while, when they realised we had no food. They went away.

The water was cold and it took our bodies sometime to adjust to the water. We would swim around the waterfall whenever we felt cold.

More people streamed in at around 11 am. The 'maffias' were nowhere to be seen by then.

Water was clean and there were no fishes here. The rocks were not slippery like those in Seven Wells (rocks had algae on them).

We had a good time here. Refreshing. What a sight to behold to view the tallest waterfall in Langkawi!

The Temurun Waterfall is located near di Andaman Hotel , and in front of it you will find the quite and secluded Pebbles beach.
To reach the waterfall , you can use rented bike ,motorcycle or by taxi.
Along the steps and walkways to the waterfall was a beauty by itself , lush greenery all over the place.
Because its location , not many tourists wander here , thus, its not crowded at all ,the amount of water was acceptable ,compared to the Seven Wells Waterfall we visited earlier.
You can crossroads with some local wildlife , like macaques and lizards ,here.
Its Langkawi's best kept secret ,worth a visit !
