Really cooling and beautiful waterfall. Not difficult to find. Be careful as it is Quite a steep climb up the steps. The steps are very big and uneven.

Wear anti slip shoes. Can bring your swimming costume Many people are taking a dip in the waterfall.

After a drive around the island of Langkawi we felt a bit hot so decided to take a look at the Temurun Waterfall and perhaps have a swim. We were not disappointed, it was quite a climb to the top pool about 15 minutes up hill and a bit rough underfoot but when we got to the top it was well worth the dip, there was lots of butterflies flying around the waterfall and the water was lovely and cool and refreshing. Would certainly rate it as worth a visit. There were also a few places to stop and have a bbq on the way up where we found quite a few locals spending their afternoon at the car park at the bottom of hill you could have light refreshments at the kiosks.

The waterfall is very beautiful. The clean and fresh water so you can swim here. You must climb but when you see the small lake, you will like it.

Most of us love Temurun waterfall including myself especially in the rainy season. Sadly, a recent visit to this special waterfall, we found the local authorities had done a huge, huge sin on this place.

This is worth the drive to and the short walk to the waterfall. We swam in the cool, fresh water - so refreshing and beautiful. The area was very clean and the stairs to the top were well-made and made the walk fairly easy. Don't miss out on this, and plan to swim and take lots of photos!

The falls are nearly dry but the resulting drop in tourist numbers has allowed the monitors and monkeys to take over.

It's still very scenic but the lizard jumping out from right beside the path scared the s**t out of us.

We saw 2 of the 3 waterfalls and this was my fav.
We came to this place twice. The 1st time it was dry and there was no water and it was bitterlfy dissapointing. the second time however we went after a large storm and it was really something! the path takes you right to the base of the falls and you can swim in the pools if you fancy it. Lots of wildlife here too! monkeys, birds, monitors. well worth checking out!
**steps are steep and can be slippery so be carefull!!**

We hired a driver for four hours and asked him to take us to some of the sights.
He suggested these falls as they were not a difficult climb.
The path was paved and had a railing on one side there were several spots you stop along the way, a few people were having a dip at a couple of these spots.
I only went 3/4 of the way up as you could easily see the falls from here and they were spectacular.
We also saw a family of monkeys, mum at the front two babies and then dad at the rear, the littlies were having a ball swinging from the branches.
The whole area was spotless and well kept.

We had hired a car for our stay and decided to check out the island and we came across this waterfall whilst vsiitng The Datai Resort. It is located right near a beach and has a walkiing path that takes you to the top if you choose to do so. Given we had an 18mth old in tow we gave the hike to the top am miss as it was a very large waterfall.
We took some lovely pics and went to head back and came across a pack of monkeys. Luckily we had no bags with us and they seemed disinterested, but when we got to the car and started pulling out drinks more monkey's suddenly appeared and we decided ti was time to go!!!! Definitely stop by if you hire a car as it is a beatiful waterfall.

Although the waterfalls are dry, and there is water, you can have a swim in the pool and you will be the only one. Furthermore you can see butterflies and birds, I saw 2 Kingfisher.
