Great place to purchase local crafts. This place is fantastic. Takes about 1 hour to walk around the whole place as there is so much to explore and buy from local craftsmen. Done really beautiful things here. Definitely worth the visit

I will visit this complex each time I am in Langkawi because i like the souvenirs collection here. They have varieties of souvenirs from different vendors but the best to me is Karangkraf batik collection (materials and ready to wear). They have lots of things to choose from and there is also batik painting activities for adults and kids

This place is well worth a visit if you are looking for something different to see and buy. There is a little museum showing wedding costumes throughout the ages, lots of different craft stalls with people demonstrating various things. We were shown Stingless Bees which were no bigger than little flies and the Honey they make is delicious.
So different from the usual Tourist souvenir shops where you can buy such lovely hand crafted gifts.

Spent a good couple of hours here wandering around and looking at all the arts and crafts. Much better choice and quality here than in the shops in Pantai Cenang.
I love the wedding exhibition and also the stingless honey bee farm outside. Did not manage to get to the glass blowing exhibition which I will save for another visit.
I can never understand why this complex is always empty and it is a lovely drive to the top of the island and this is not just a rainy day activity but one where you can spend some time out of the hot sun. There is no entry charge to any of the exhibits.
There is a cafe area which looks lovely but I did not visit.

The complex was actually huge and could see a lot of potentials but the staff were unmotivated, it was so quiet and it needs a lot of revamping. I am not sure to what target market this place is intended for but as international travellers from western countries, we were less impressed. The glass art area looked like it hadn't been touched for at least 10 years. It was horrible and not recommended. Travellers don't waste your time coming here, you are better off purchasing souvenirs and artworks elsewhere on the island.

This is a huge facility that is poorly used. I would agree that the staff were unmotivated and the layout was difficult to follow. They need better organization and grouping of the crafts that they have for sale. I did enjoy the wedding ceremony section and I thought that it was well done.

Does not expect much. But was surprise during the visit. Local quality product better sold in chenang beach which mostly imported from thailand. My kids having fun painting batik which just cost rm10. There's a small heritage museum which is interesting & its free. A place where u can buy locally made product.

We enjoyed ourselves although we came on a Friday morning and didn’t realize that the workshops featuring glass blowing, etc were closed on Fridays. The bee uncle was there, though, & took us to the stingless bee hives in the garden as well as gave us honey to try straight from the honey sacs! They are like black-looking egg yolks stuck to the sides of the hive! Each hive produce a distinctively different taste of honey. It was fascinating listening to the uncle explain about the stingless bees and their honey production. Of course, we bought some from him. The price is reasonable, looking at those offered online.
We also saw the batik artist at work, outlining his pieces, while his young assistants fill in the colours to produce the beautiful pieces of artwork. You can also make pieces of your own there.
There are also interesting museums featuring traditional fishing tools and other cultural items. The grounds are large and airy, very quiet when we visited. It is a good place to browse through the souvenirs, crafts, clothes, without feeling hassled or in cramped spaces. The sales staff were helpful and polite. Take your time here. Go with an open mind and you may find some nice souvenirs to bring home, as well as learn about the culture of Malaysia.

In a beautiful building is this complex of shops with traditional handicrafts and items to purchase. There is a glass-blowing studio further down where they will demonstrate their amazing skills.
Definitely worth a visit!

It might have been due to Ramadan, but the place was nearly empty when we visited.A lot of shops where selling stuff not really typical / local. All together a bit sad...a good idea, big investment done but then ? Maintenance poor, outside conditions going down, lack of concepts ? Not really a highlight of my visit
