For the price we paid, I think it's not worth it. I am actually excited about the fruits buffet, but the fruit options are quite limited. Rambutan and Mango was not even in the option. You have to pay for the coconut by the way.

No one welcome us or guide us on what to do upon entering the premises. When we asked one of the staff if we need to wait for a shuttle service, they just told us "I don't know". Which is quite unacceptable answer for me especially if you are a staff of that place. This is the most basic information I would say. And the reason we asked the staff is because when we tried walking, we saw a sign saying "no walking beyond this area". So we assumed that a shuttle service is a must to roam the area. Touris information is also close!

Also, we are expecting a little bit of an fun / informative tour. Rather than just driving us around the farm. You would notice that some of the guest are also bored as they do not even want to go out of the service anymore.

Lured here on the recommendation of our taxi driver. Can't think of a single good thing to say about the place.
Dual pricing, where Malaysian citizens pay 10 RM and foreigners 30 RM.
The "buggy" ride is a small lorry with several benches. On this delightful carriage we were driven past fruit trees bearing little or no fruit. This is not an orchard just some sparsely planted trees along a small, private road.
Halfway along the tour you alight to eat some prepared fruit. Obviously, none of it grown here.
Back aboard the lorry and past some desolate greenhouses with torn plastic walls and nothing but dead plants inside them.
Then another stop, this time to feed some fish! Of course! I mean, what orchard doesn't have a fish pond in it?
Then their version of a highlight. A jackfruit wearing sunglasses which you are asked to stand behind as they take your picture. It looks like you have a jackfruit face! Hilarious!

Really disappointing. This site has so much potential but is badly presented. They carry you off in a buggy past several orchards but not a single word from the driver/guide. Stopped for fruit tasting which was the best part; and photos with a pineapple. Then stopped at a point to do zip wire (extra charge) which was a waste of your time. Then we stopped at a place and shown lime, cashew, cotton, pineapple trees. Unfortunately not many had fruits at this time of yr. the problem is that without commentary and guidance it’s useless. You don’t know what you driving past. People are interested in plants but need introduction, not just look at them. Avoid until they improve the tour.

If you have nothing to do, possibly you can visit Vegetable and Fruit Farm. Actually it’s not a farm visit. What we did is just arrived, took our picture near entrance for RM30. Entrance is RM40 each. Waiting 20 minutes to let people gather to go in bus. While waiting, tried to see souvenir shop but the lady is extremely rude. Spend 20 minutes in eating 6 kinds of fruits. Tour started with Pineapple photo in artistic way to look so huge. Fish feeding for 1 minutes and Vegetable and Fruit Farm end.
Come on. You are cheating us. I don’t recommend this tour to anyone.

If you live in the deserts and have never seen trees in your life, this is the place to be. If you indeed have seen trees in your life, skip this. It is a waste of time and money.

The sad part is, we were in a taxi which went past the park, then you take a vehicle that travels on a road which is along the main road, which you just passed in the taxi - then you get down, eat some fruit and then take photos and return.

What is this place trying to achieve? Probably never felt so disappointment anywhere else.

The 1 star is probably only for smiling staff.

This is a bizarre, terrible tour. You ride around in a truck with a guide who wants you to take all manner of crappy photos with fruit. You also feed some catfish for no logical reason and share a fruit buffet that I am near-certain is fruit that isn't from the actual farm, given we saw no watermelon anywhere.

They don't talk about the fruit or the technology of growing fruit at all!!!

Terrible.

Brought some friends from overseas for a visit to this Fruit Farm . I live here in Langkawi and have visited this place quite a number of times and have always encountered nice and friendly staffs . This visit with friends however have changed my view of this farm . This Chinese ticket counter staff was not friendly at all and when I enquired regarding the difference in price for locals and foreigners , she answered in a rather rude tone of voice and looked uninterested in her explanation .
My friends later told me there were not that many varieties of fruits due to the dry season .
Not worth a visit during the hot and dry season . Ticket counter staff need to be very friendly if you want to charge so much for something so less .

Me and my husband were at the fruit farm today noon. A young lady took us on a tour in the farm explaining about the different fruits that grow in the tropical region. All fruits are grown organically and no chemicals are used. We were also served fruits that they grow in the farm. It was a good dose of energy in the hot mid-day sun.

In between the tour, she gave us rings, grasshoppers made out of coconut leaf. She also took some special pictures of each of us using fruits :)
All in all, it was a very good experience and I recommend tourists to visit the farm.

This is very interesting place for anyone to see and to learn how the tropical fruits are grown. This is not a farm, as many people write, but state owned agri research and development centre. They do not produce fruits for commercial sales.
We were given through explanations by our guide who made numerous stops throughout the trip, given all the fresh fruits to try, had a chance to feed fish in the pond. All visit was very relaxed and interesting experience. Very strange to hear what other visitors are writing in their reviews.

We stopped over at this fruit farm for a short tour and fruit buffet. Nothing special if you are from asian countries and have eaten most of the fruits. But it nice to visit if you have time to kill. You can see many fruit trees and sample fruits at the fruits buffet.
