- Khairul AzdaSelangor, Malaysia2 contributionsA Wonderful Guide Made My Tour Extra Special !!!This was not my 1st time coming here and I was so amazed to see so many new animal species and the park as always, was very well kept. The animals are active which can only mean that they are healthy, well taken care off and most importantly happy. I need to give a special mention to Ms. Irra for being an awesome guide!!! I have never met a person who is so enthusiastic and passionate towards her work. Irra literally has all the info on the back of her palm & she can even talk to the animals!!! So be sure to look her up on your next visit as I will definitely come again.Dear J8790EAkhairula Greetings from Wildlife Park Langkawi! This is a semi indoor park, so it is not hot and sweaty. Kids really enjoy because they can feed and pet the animals. Animal food sells at rm9 per pack, full of food for many types of animals. Totally recommended!!Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 23, 2022

- AbhimanyuSinghiLudhiana, India316 contributionsMore a Bird Park than a Wildlife ParkThis is more a bird park than a wildlife park. There are very animals and hardly any "wild" animals. Only worth a visit if you have nothing better to do or have young children with you. The children will enjoy feeding the birds and deers - you can buy feed kits at the entrance and towards the middle of the exhibits as well. Its setup like an open zoo and adults can finish the park in half an hour - with kids it will take about an hour.Visited November 2022Written December 26, 2022
- Nik71191 contributionsAn interactive animal parkIt is more than just a place where animals are kept in cages for viewing, but it encourage more on interactive and playing with the animal - within a safe condition. Every guests were giving a bag of food to feed the animals. The Park basically divided to 4 areas - A, B, C and D. And perhaps in areas B and C are where most of the interactive with the animals happen. There is actually nothing much in area D, just a corridor with a static exhibition. Apart from a great and fun exhibition and play in the Park, what made it is a great place to visit is its' staffs, almost everyone we meet are friendly and more than willing to explain and help us, and that make the visit more meaningful. Kudos to all the staff at The Park. The only odd or out of place in the park is, a mineral @ gems shop in the middle of the park (in area C), which really out of concept for an animal park.Dear Nik71 Greetings from Wildlife Park Langkawi! We fed macaws, ducklings, deer, cassowary, raccoons, budgies and a variety of other animals. It was very relaxed and a staff member at each enclosure to ensure people are feeding them the right things. I liked how the staff were very calming and politely advised what to feed each animal.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 13, 2023

I feel saddened by the condition and enclosures of the animals. It's horrible to see all of them cooped up in cages.. with so little enrichment provided. How can this place win a trip advisor award in the 1st place? The iguana is barely getting any sunlight as reptiles should! mammals were pacing around their cages in boredom. The deer and rabbits were sooo starved they came right to us for feeding! This place is a dungeon for animals! Tripadvisor should review these aspects before handing out awards!

Dear Vita T
Greetings from Wildlife Park Langkawi!
We are currently upgrading our park and enlarging the enclosure of the animals. Iguana have been moved to another enclosure which they have plenty of natural sunlight, while the deers and rabbits and always hungry as we do feed our animals with suitable quantity of food which they needed.
Thank you and kind regards!

I really expected this place to be so much better and was so disappointed with our visit. The enclosures are way too small and I don't trust their treatment of the animals. The beautiful birds of prey look so miserable. I would be too if I was stuck in a cage for the rest of my life. Shameful Langkawi Wildlife Park. I don't recommend this to anyone and I'm ashamed of financially supporting this terrible money-making scheme. That's all it seemed to be to me.

Greetings from Wildlife Park Langkawi!
We are currently upgrading our park and we do have proper treatment for the sick animals. The Wildlife Park is actually a petting zoo where you can have close interaction with the animals. Anyhow, thank you for visited us and we hope that you can try to visit us again in the near future.
Thank you and kind regards!

This place is nothing short of disgusting. There are more birds in your garden and the few animals they have, are kept in smaller cages than your average home pets!
It's a complete waste of time and I would avoid this at all costs particularly on a rainy day as you get soaked as the walk ways may be covered but the roof has holes in it.
To add insult to injury they also charge you an additional 25% to book you a taxi , even though there was 6 waiting !!!! It certainly wasn't cheap cheap!!

Hi Abdulrahman a,
There are much lesser animals when compare to big city's zoo. There are only 150 different species of animals and around 1000 individuals in the park. We are not sure if you have visited the park before or you have visited the other park in Langkawi.

Hi what time is animal show? how long tour guide will bring us around the park?
Langkawi Wildlife Park
Langkawi, Malaysia18 contributions
Hi there Eve L,
There is a lot of animal shows in Langkawi WildLife Park with the earliest start at 9:00 am which marks the start of morning session feeding. Morning session feeding ends at 11:40 am with Otter Feeding.
The Animal Show then start again at 1:00 pm with Photograph with Eagle and ends at 6:00 pm with Photography with Eagle again.
Normally it will take around 2 hours to go around the park. But it really is up to the visitor if they wanted to follow all the animal show or just a portion of it.
