About
A nature and ecology based tour operator from Langkawi, Malaysia. Our team of 8 people, 5 registered and experienced nature guides and 3 vessel pilots. We are engaged in Mangrove kayaking, Mangrove safari and Round-The-Island Tour. Our vehicles and boats are licensed and insured, including 2 Toyota Vans and 2 boats. Our office is located at PPR Indera Mahsuri, a stone's throw away from the Langkawi Dream Forest. We're the ONLY one in Langkawi who offer an after sale-service, which is, any of our guests could request any hi-res pictures of the tour (animals, scenery etc)taken by our photographer FOR FREE after the tour ended. In case they miss the animal, or didn't bring the camera during the tour etc.

I couldn't recommend this tour enough! Fauzon, our guide, took so much care to learn and remember everyone's names on the trip and was so considerate of our place within a Geopark. We had a great time walking through the bat caves, boating through the mangroves and learning about fish breeding programs in the area. Going through the mangroves forest, we were able to stop to take pictures of wildlife we saw along the way. The tour is about 4 hours long which flew by without us noticing.
Be prepared to bring a bathing suit for a quick swim! There was a quick stop at a beautiful beach before lunch, which was provided and accommodated dietary restrictions well.

I did the mangrove tour with kayaking and from start to finish the experience was amazing. Our tour guide (Syam) was full of information about the area and surrounding nature. He made sure that everyone was well taken care of. The lunch received after the kayaking was very good and all the staff were very happy to help.
Although no boats feed the eagles while we kayaked we still saw plenty flying above.
I would definitely recommend this tour to others if you are happy to kayak, you get a much closer experience of the mangroves.

We thoroughly enjoyed the mangrove kayaking tour with Fauna Flora. The two guides (one was Sham and I have unfortunately forgotten the other guide’s name), were very knowledgeable, responsible, attentive and funny! We love that this company doesn’t engage in problematic practices like feeding the eagles, and we still saw plenty of wildlife, including sea eagles, kites, macaques, fiddler crabs, walking fish and even a sea otter! The food at the floating restaurant was surprisingly tasty and they carefully accommodated me being vegetarian (even making sure I didn’t get a dish with shrimp paste, which is sometimes overlooked). We did a lot of research and are very pleased we went with Fauna Flora!

From beginning to end, Fauna Flora Eco did a terrific job! With hotel pick up and drop off, it was super convenient. Our day was packed with fun activities and we learned a lot. Our guides were professional and informative yet relaxed and had great senses of humour. The bat caves were awesome and the family of monkeys there were very chilled out. Paddling through the mangroves was truly a magical experience that I will never forget. We got to see a viper and learn all about the ecosystem and the importance it plays for the species that inhabit it, as well as the people. We got to see SO MANY eagles! The water was so beautiful, the whole excursion was blissfully peaceful. After the mangroves, we paddled over to the fish farm where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. They were thoughtful enough to ask everyone about their dietary needs and accommodated us with no issues at all. The food was great! The whole experience was great! They really made you feel like they cared about the experience you were having. I can’t say enough good things. Great value for money. Get out there and paddle! : )

We had a fantastic time on the Kilim boat tour with Fouzan. We had a large group of 10 of us ranging from a 2.5 to 74 year old on our private tour. We originally were keen on doing the kayaking tour, but realised kayaking for 4 hours would not be great for the grandparents! So we opted to give the boat tour a try. It was great! Fouzan picked us up from our hotel, and drove us straight to the jetty. We saw the bat cave, fish farm, tons of monkeys and beautiful eagles and kites diving for food, and swam at a secluded beach. The scenery was spectacular. Fouzan was a good guide, and gave us lots of interesting info. Would highly recommend the tour.

Amazing mangrove tour with our wonderful guide Sham. Sham was extremely kind and gave us a loooot of informations about the mangroves but also about the island, the animals, etc… He is also very funny ! The captain stoped the boat at many different places to show us a lot of animals or rock formations.
They don’t feed wild animals and this is also why we choose them!
The mangroves are amazingly beautiful and you can see a lot of wildlife. The stop at the beach was perfect with enough time for us to enjoy it. The food was also very very good. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the stop at the fish farm as it’s a little bit sad to see so many big fishes stuck in such small aquarium but it was quick. Everything else was really perfect.

Our kayaking trip was great fun. We saw many different animals and Fauzan (our guide) was super knowledgable to give us some background information. The nature was super beautiful, we didnt meet any other tourists. I can highly recommend!

For nature lover, you should really try this!!
Had a blast !! Real 'Nat Geo' life experience with Mr. Fauzan who's keeping us entertained with his energy and informative and in-depth explanation about insect, animals & species. It's really awesome kayaking in the rain ,just the kind of adventure i'm looking for . We also get to learn about fishes and petting stingrays while at the fishing farm and enjoying fresh cooked meals of seafood. We get to be up close with the red kites soaring above us.Such an amazing experience!!!

Had such a nice morning kayaking through the mangroves and Fauzan was a great tour guide. We’re happy with our decision kayaking (vs the boat) as you can go through more narrow inlets. The water was calm and we felt safe at all times. Fauzan is very knowledgeable and vibes were 10/10

Hi. How do you make bookings with this company? I will be in Langkawi soon but do not yet know the exact date I will be avialable for one of these tours. Can I book through my hotel once I arrive in Langkawi or do I have to book in advance online through Fauna Flora Eco directly? I went on the booking page of their website and it allowed me to put a tour in my basket and took me through to a payment screen but it wouldn't let me pick a date. I would rather just book once I am in Langkawi and have had chance to access the weather forecast. Please let me know the best way for me to do that. Thank you

We didn't book it online, so I can't speak to that, but last year we booked directly on the street. There was a stand, next to the Mexitalian restaurant if I am not mistaken, where we booked the Fauna Flora Eco tour (stand was not by them though).
