One of my favourite places to be after my boyfriend berths his yacht, a place to unwind and relax before heading out to sea again. Charlie’s Bar and Grill is our go-to because of their super cheap cold beers and tasty selection of food. We recommend getting their pizzas! Also, this place is highly recommended to those who appreciate peace and quiet and love a good view of the sunset.

I rarely visit marinas whenever I travel, especially in Malaysia where it is almost unheard of. However, fisherman's wharf has got to be one of the most interesting places in Langkawi to be. They have everything you need and maybe even more. Nice eateries, retail and souvenir shops, and even a cute boutique hotel which is value for money because the views are amazing for the price you are paying for.

I don't recall ever seeing this small mall built to be chic and trendy in full action. The remaining shops seem to be just showcases and the only restaurant worth visiting is Charlie's hidden downstairs with the usual crowd of senior citizens. The Yacht Club though seems to make good business with dignitaries arriving to their vessel in police escort.
