About
The only zipline eco-adventure tour in Matchinchang Cambrian GeoForest Park. Soar over a waterfall, see clear views of the ocean surrounding this magical island from high in the sky. The course features 12 ziplines, 4 skybridges, thrilling descents, and extraordinary eco-education, but it is the location that will take your breath away.

My husband and I have always wanted to try zip lining. Have to admit that we were excited but a little nervous about trying but our nervousness abated quickly as Umgawa made our first experience relaxing, fun and educational. In the beautiful canopy surrounding the 7 Wells Waterfall, Matt, Afif and Cameraman (sorry we didn’t get name) calmly and with utmost attention to safety led us around the exciting course and provided information on the flora and fauna of the area as we went. You start off as a novice but by the 12th line you feel like an expert! All due to to the relaxed, fun manner of the sky rangers. Highly recommend this experience for all ages. The whole Umgawa set-up is very professional and all the staff are very friendly putting you at ease from the minute you step on the site. Great views and great fun. Don’t hesitate to challenge yourself and and enjoy the experience with this great team!

Hi there

If ever anyone is visiting Langkawi, this adrenaline rush activity is a must. There is the one hour option covering lines up to 100m & then the magical two hour option covering lines up to 200m. I am almost 58 years old & the experience was far superior to any other zip lining that I have done to date. The guides, Afif & Matt were knowledgeable & delivered their explanations with clarity. In addition, we gained from them, some wild life knowledge since we were zipping amidst a natural area. I admired their care with each of us in the team. Afif acted with so much efficiency in assisting one team member who began to zip backwards on one line. He immediately kicked into gear to bring her safely to the platform. Both our guides’ patience made me feel very safe & I enjoyed every minute of this activity. I declared this to be the highlight of my vacation. Thank you Afif & Matt.

This was one of the best experience I had on my travel, the staff is extremely courteous in fact the customer service was unparallel to any other prior experience we had. We were a group of three females and the warmth and friendliness of the team was extremely heart touching. This is an experience truly value for your money, for anyone scared of this adventure don't be as the staff would be there all along the way and make it super easy for you.

I’m not at all a regular client of these “adventure trails” or should I say “thrills” and I went on the account of my two kids (7 and 10) thinking that if I spot anything that would pose a risk, I’d be there to stop it. As far as I was concerned, I gave myself 50-50 chance to actually do it too.
I have to say it’s admirably set up, ran and managed.
Besides being well organized, the care and level of service are really surprising and I’m not saying this because they’re kind, helpful and funny.
This is a well run business. Someone took the time to think hard how to really do it well.
From the cheerful and encouraging welcome, to the useful dry run demonstration and safety instruction, to the equipment, the safety procedures, the well designed trail/circuit to the fruit platter at the end under their shady patio, everything went smooth, it was fun and engaging and a great family thing to do. The views are amazing, the surrounding luxuriant jungle spotted by an occasional flying squirrel or gecko hanging on high trees incredible.
The staff is caring, knowledgeable and gives you confidence by their way of respecting safety along the route while still finding time to be funny and accommodating.
I do recommend it for family and friends traveling together.

Zip lining through the trees was really exciting. It is also a good breeze for a hot day. It would be best if you go there in the morning because it's cooler and not as hot as afternoons. Umgawa is one of the funnest places I've ever been to. Sometimes, you can spot dusky leaf monkeys around the forest and other animals so be sure to take a camera! I suggest to not take pictures with phones because there have been accidents where people have dropped their phones in the forest. It would be best to take a Go Pro camera as I did. The guides were also very friendly, Naim and Nina and kept joking along the way.

First of all, the guides are super professional and take care of everything along the way, so everyone feels very safe. Having said that, the entire experience is pretty mediocre to poor. The lines are not that long and the worst thing is that you have to wait everyone to climb the line before you can go to the next one. We were a group of 11 people and our ‘adventure’ was supposed to last 1hour. We were back on the ground in less than 45 mins and spent in total on a zip line less than 5 minutes altogether - the remaining time we were waiting for other people and standing on the platforms. All in all I was pretty disappointed and this was absolutely, 100% not worth the money.

Dear 605sonjar, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your Jungle Flight tour. Being as committed to excellent customer service as we are, I must say in all honesty that we're not used to negative feedback. We're disappointed that you're disappointed! You are entitled to your opinion but I will say a few words. 1) Yes, you must take turns on the ziplines and this does mean that you will spend time standing on platforms waiting your turn. This is all part and parcel of ziplining. We can't allow more than one person on a zipline at a time. This could result in dangerous collisions. Time on the platforms also provides our guides with opportunities to share their knowledge of our surrounding rainforest, and lucky guests might spot unique wildlife. 2) Jungle Flight is our shorter tour and does not feature our Colugo and Long Time ziplines which are famous for their height, length, and stunning views. We always recommend that experienced zipliners such as yourself should opt for our full tour, Big Waterfall Adventure. Perhaps this would have been a better choice for you. We'd like to look deeper into the circumstances surrounding your tour as some of the details you have provided are certainly not standard for us i.e., the size of your group and the duration of your tour. We'd appreciate it very much if you could let us know the date and time of your tour so we may check our records and see where we went wrong. Please feel free to email me at lyn@umgawa.com. Best wishes, Lyn

It was a very nice trip I recommend it very much it was our first time zip lining and the the views are breath taking. Our Rangers Sal and Adha made us feel very safe as they pay attention to safety details at all times. They are also fun and explained to us about the trees and animals around us.

I would recommend this to anyone visiting Langkawi as a must do.

We enjoyed our time at Umgawa zipline adventures. There is a short track of six ziplines and a long one of twelve ziplines, skybridges and a view of the waterfall in the rain season.

The guides are very helpful, patient and explain about nature and the animals that live in Langkawi. The lines and gear are all very safe. Before you go, the guides help you putting on your gear and give a live demo explaining the safety rules. So, they are with you from start to end.

I tried ziplining for the first time with Umgawa on a recent short trip to Langwaki. It was a very fun way to spend the afternoon! I appreciated that the equipment is well maintained and safety is taken very seriously. The Umgawa team is also professional and accommodating. My guides, Naim and Iz were such fun and ensured I had a memorable but safe first ziplining experience. I recommend booking in advance, when possible. Also, it is a very short walk from the sky car/bridge to Umgawa so the two activities work very well to do together in a day. Happy ziplining!

We did the 2 hour zip line course with 16 different points. It was so exhilarating, we had such a great time and I would highly recommend it! Afif had such great knowledge of Langkawi that he shared with us, especially about the nature. Fauzi and Johnny (the photographer) were great fun too. I always felt really safe and secure and will remember this experience for a very long time
