Damai Indah and Damai Indah Lagi are charming traditional wooden cargo-boats that Eva, the only lady-captain in the area, has converted and renovated to become luxurious charter-boats. She and her crew are passionate about sailing and offer cruises around the archipelago of Langkawi on the highest standard possible. Food is cooked fresh on the boats either by Eva herself or by a professional chef and caters on the highest level possible for all nations and diets. The bar is always well stocked up and includes most poplar drinks and spirits. The cruising area is the north east of Langkawi, close to Thailand and covers the most beautiful islands of the archipelago; far off the beaten track. If you opt for a sharing cruise or a private charter – you will be in good hands!

This was fantastic. "Awesome", "outstanding", "incredible" and "amazing" are the words supplied by the family when I asked for their contributions to this review. We did the shared cruise with one other family. Our skipper Adrian was great: friendly and knowledgeable, with an excellent sense of humour and the rest of the crew were excellent as well. I think our... More

I was a a bit apprehensive about booking this excursion. I knew my husband and I would enjoy this as we have done similar things before but this time I had my parents (in their 60s and non swimmers) and my 3.5 year old niece. A few emails between Eva and I put my mind at ease and I committed... More

Eva and Captain Adrian made the day incredible. The food was delicious, the views were magnificent, and the relaxed atmosphere let us truly enjoy our surroundings. My friends and I will never forget the afternoon we spent on that boat!

From the 1st moment I spoke with Eva I knew that we would have a great time! She quickly confirmed our booking even though she herself was on holiday in another country. The boat, crew (above & below deck) were absolutely amazing! Wes ensured that our glasses were never empty while Vanessa & Gunna prepared the most incredible meal which... More

My husband and I wanted to throw a party to celebrate our wedding. We found Eva online and after reading reviews and meeting her, decided to hire Eva's boat and crew. As we lived abroad, we trusted Eva and let her do most the planning - I even forgot to mentioned to her if any of our guest are vegetarian... More

a bit expensive? yes. But totally worth it. Lovely crew, very friendly and funny. Seens are breathtaking. You'd enjoy every single minute in this trip. At the end of the 5 hours we had a one hour chit chat at the port. Food is 5 stars quality

I'll start by saying that we almost gave up on going on the shared sunset dinner cruise as we were travelling with kids aged 2 and 4 who are scared of their own shadows and didn't want to be forced to land early and ruin the trip for others. With Eva's encouragement via email we figured, what the hell! And... More

We had no clue on what a Yacht ride could mean till we came on board Damai Indah, we were elated when we got to know that only 2 families had the entire boat to ourselves. The crew and the members( read: Rebecca and taxi- if you want to know more about them, you got to either come on board... More

I'm smiling as I write this belated review. This was definitely the highlight of my brief visit to Langkawi, due to the very personal touch of Capt Eva, Adrian and Audrey. On the day of my trip, we visitors were a small band of me.. and a honeymoon couple! No matter that we were such a tiny group, we still... More
