Incredible day out, the guys at the desk were super friendly. Our guide took some amazing photos for us, he was very knowledgeable and took us to dome great places. Our tour was four hours in total and the staff at saff watersports made sure we enjoyed every minute.

The tour was excellent.
This was our first time on the Jetski. We were a bit scared and were driving slowly but Shahrin our tour guide was continuously checking us. He helped us understand the Jetski more and we could enjoy the later part of the tour. He was very good and the locations were amazing. He was explaining us about each place we visited along with taking photos on his gopro. He also took photos for us on our own camera.
Had an awesome tour package C for 4 hours. Looking forward for the photos.
Qamah was good in helping the booking experience and directing us to reach the place.

We joined the jet ski tour with SAFF on August 2017... Everything was going great, awesome tour, landscape, 2 guides, etc... After 2h in the tour, the jet ski of our guides (2 in one jet ski) stopped working and wouldn't turn on anymore. While using the 2nd jet ski to tow the first one, it also broke. We didn't have any jet ski working and were in the middle of open sea. Tour guide called for rescue and asked us to wait without giving much explanation. We waited really patiently because this is something that could happen to any company, even the best company in the world. The problem is that rescue only showed up 1h later (we were maybe 10-15 min from the shore) and until they could figure out what to do with the jet skis and bring us back to the beach took another hour.
From the 4h we had payed for we spent 2h in the tour, 1h waiting in the middle of the sea and 1h between being towed/the rescuer jet ski breaking (not kidding!!!! It also broke)/fixing until we end up going back to the beach 3 people in 1 jet ski.
When we got to the beach we were wondering what the people that sold us the tour would say. We'd expect something like "if you want, we can do the rest of the tour tomorrow" or "we can partially reimburse you for the hours you didn't have", but nothing close to that happened. We got small talk kinda waiting for us to just leave and accept this was a unfortunate situation. We started talking about the situation that we only had 2 out of 4 hours in the tour, that we had to wait for 2h to be rescued doing absolutely nothing in the middle of the ocean, etc. The answer was that we could have continued the tour. We explained again that how could we continue a tour at 6:30 pm (sun setting), with 3 people in one jet ski, being the guide the one driving it and the two of us sitting smashed on his back? SAFF staff was just trying to make a point they would not give us any discount and at maximum they would give us 30 min in the jet ski next day to play in Cenang Beach... We kept arguing we lost 2h of tour and 30 min jet ski ride at the beach wouldn't make for it etc etc etc etc. After a long discussion, we ended up being reimbursed 200 ringgit which we do not consider fully fair because we paid 650 and only got half the tour plus a lot of hassle. Anyways, we could not get in consensus any further and left.
This episode serves for SAFF to learn few things:
(1) don't let people go on tours without a decent tow rope/chain in case this happens again.. This is so basic
(2) define in details what is the rescue plan, make sure you have plenty alternatives in case something serious happens and it takes less than 15 min to solve the situation
(3) define what will be the terms and conditions and explain it to the customers BEFORE they join the tour. E.g.: if the tour needs to be cancelled due to jet ski failure you have the right to finish it another day or be partially reimbursed by XX ringgit per half hour left of the tour.. Same for bad weather, injury, etc etc etc. this is also basic.
(4) train the staff to deal better with this kind of situation. Our guide gave very limited info, was not in the best mood while waiting and at some point when the rescuer and the other guide were fixing the jet skis (and we waiting) he just took a ride in another jet ski and left!!! Didn't say bye or explained why he was leaving us behind. Obs: even though we had the other guide he barely didn't speak English...
(5) the rescuer they sent that supposedly would be able to take us to the rest of the tour, was actually rushing us to get on the jet ski saying "hurry up, I'm hungry". So non sense...
(6) if all 3 jet skis involved in the episode broke down, is it just a coincidence or do maintenance of the machines just doesn't exist?
This episode teaches to the customers that as of now, this company is not yet ready to deal with risky activity like this. No one seemed to be trained on how to deal with the situation or had a back up plan to go rescue us. Gladly, in our case it was just a jet ski, but what if it was an accident? Would the injured person be waiting in the middle of nowhere for 1 hour as well? How can you know how things will be handled if something goes differently from planned and you have no fault on that? Will the company be fair or not?
If everything went well, we'd probably be praising SAFF like everybody else. To be fair, the staff despite the poor guide communication on the issue and the other guy not agreeing on the discount, no one was rude or disrespectful. The problem here seems to be poor management and amateurism. SAFF could be a great company the day they understand basic things like keep your customers happy no matter what. The way it is run today, it is just too amateur. I wouldn't recommend.

My partner confirmed a reservation 1 day before our Jet Ski tour as stated in the description, but I was really pissed that a lot of time was wasted. We arrived at the beach at 9am, no one was at the SAFF tent and nothing was set up. We had to wait till 1030am to start the Jet Ski trip with ANOTHER company and we were given a very lousy jet ski which made the whole ride very uncomfortable....
I previously did with Mega Watersports and they are much better/ professional.

Thanks Qamah and Syah for excellent service and great prices. First time riding a jet ski !! Great fun. Find them on Cenang Beach towards the Meritus Pelangi end.

Fun trip but not for the faint hearted. We went on a cloudy day with strong winds and the waves were quite intimidating.
Our tour guide, Din was very chill and gave us enough time at every spot.
Highly recommended!

We took a jetski tour (package D) and SAFF made us to enjoy it a lot! We had good time in our tour because of our guides and well-chosen route. Staff was very friendly, they told good stories about Langkawi history and nature, and after a tour they invited us to play beachvolley. In our route there was very beautiful views and interesting places to stop, and we could also enjoy a high speed. If you are visiting langkawi, you definitely should take a tour with SAFF. Next time I have to go to full 12-hour tour :)

We signed up for package C but when we got there we were offered package D for an extra RM50 as another couple had booked on to that package for the same time. We happily obliged.
The trip was thrilling. The guide was very informative and we felt completely safe during the tour. I'm glad we went with package D as we were told the things we would have missed out on if we went with package C, as well as the time spent on the jetski being much shorter.
Well done to everyone at SAFF!

Might be, if they are passengers for adults, but you should ask them 🤔. There were some teenagers when we went.
