We spent a couple of hours here and it was a pleasant break in a green leafy environment. There were quite a few interesting animals - lions, Sumatran tigers, sun bears , snakes, crocodiles, monkeys and hippo. The cages were rather run down so not like Singapore zoo or the Australian zoos but most of the animals looked happy enough... More

This zoo is in sad conditions. The security is not very good (crocodiles was behind a vague fence). Some animals have sad comditions, one tiger seemed absolutely mental instable circling around and around. The walking path are not connected and the zoo is in sad conditions. You pay only 2 rm in entrance, maybe a higher entrance could support rebuilds?

The zoo is vary old and still retains that concrete and steel bars look that most south east Asian zoos have but this parks animals all look content and there was no signs... More

The zoo is clean and well organized with clean food selling around the stalls. This is definitely one favorite spot for families especially the children. There are animal shows for the entertainment of you folks too.

Nice visit with family and friends. Not so many animals, but it is small zoo and cheap entrance fee. Near JB town, and suitabale for short visit.

The entrance fees is only MYR2each...simply affordable for whole family. Camels are really pretty and we can feed them there. We could spend 20 mins paddling at the lake too with extra fees. Even though the zoo is not very big. It is sufficient for kids to spend half day there and get to know most of the animals .Not... More
