Its so nice to visit places of interest. The goverment has maintained the building.I hope it will not be demolished and replaced with a new building.

I always see this building from outside while traveling on the coastal roan (facing Singapore) so I decided to check it out. The building is magnificent, but there it all ends. There’s nothing interesting at the site.

The compound contains state building as well as a mosque. The buildings are not open for the public but the gardens can be a good spot for pictures. The mosque itself is quite nice on the outside but not as good on the inside.

So it seems that photos are fine, but unfortunately visits inside the grounds are not allowed. It's still one of the most interesting buildings in JB though so worth a stop as you wander around.
