We participated in a guided fish fossil hunt in the mountains guided by staff at Memoire Du Temps. Nothing like this in the world. The shops is also amazing. Large fish fossils cover the wall and the staff is very informative. Great for kids and adults.

It is impressive to see unique and beautiful fossils. There beautiful fossils to buy. It is the best shop in this souk. Maybe it is possible to buy one of the best souvenirs from Byblos.

We were taken here by our guide and fully expected to be pushed into buying a souvenir but we were totally wrong. The lady explained everything about the fossils and showed us all the different species found, some now extinct. You can also take part in the excavation of the fossils up in the mountains at certain times of the... More

Very close to the castle and souq. The fish fossil collection is quite interesting and I'm not usually bothered about such things... though small and... More

A great stop in Byblos, it is like a walk-in fossil museum from Byblos. No entry fee, no obligation of buying, and the guide there is very helpful with his explanation.

Arrived to Byblos in the evening and were unable to visit this shop. So glad we came back! I learned much about the fossils from Pierre and even had a chance to experience the 'find'. You will find the true character of the Lebanese people here- shukran Pierre!
