It's a beautiful small russian orthodox church situated in a popular place. It's not worth the visit if you had visited the Ascension Cathedral in Panfilov Park.

A visit to the Cathedral is a must. A stunning building all made from Wood and an amazing inspiring history of how it survived the great Almaty earthquake. Its well worth the visit not matter what religion you follow.

St Nicholas Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox Church with very traditional background of relics and icons. A very impressive structure with ornate gold domes
