It is really a good place to walk in, especially in the summer. There's a huge variety of flora species, japanese garden and pine forest.

Only the Japanese garden is worth a visit. The rest of the botanical garden is huge but needs some serious maintenance, seems like no one worked in it for the last 5 years.. Which is a pity!

This is definitely one of the better Botanical Gardens I've visited in a long time. There is a great deal of vast open space. The place is ideal for an amazing walk with a beautiful lady or even a leisurely solo stroll.

Almaty botanical garden is a large area with the beautiful backdrop of the Alatau mountains. Beautiful spring display of local bulbs (remember that tulips come from Kazakhstan originally!).

А можно ли будет устроить пикник( посидеть на траве и перекусить) среди деревьев? Или есть специально отведенные места?
