When we've been walking around it there was virtually nobody, no people, no gas, very quiet. I can't say anything about this architecture - it's just nice. Overall nice place. + there is a trading house underground and a few other places behind it, so...More

The space around the Akimat House is filled with the parked cars! The beautiful lanes are all busy with vehicles. Police cars are also there, catching the drivers who are not allowed to park there. Not really nice.

Located on the southeast of Almaty city center, this government building is in front of the Independence monument and across the Museum on the east side.

Building and its surroundings are very intresting. The place is huge, there is so much space arround and the buildings are monumental. Its worth visiting especially if you are intrested in architecture.

Nice garden to take a stroll and enjoy some fresh air. Flowers are pretty and this a a popular area for people to walk...
